Some of the solutions Spurs have found to get out of tight already in their own defensive corners has been unbelievable at times so far in this first half. Risky? Absolutely! But really class when they get it right

Feel in a good place with my sessions right now. Putting in the extra planning time definitely paying off. Obviously not perfect and there is loads of improvement I’d like to see from myself. But happy enough!

I’m liking what I’m seeing from this Fulham side so far. Really organised defensively and clearly the tools to find ways to hurt you. Not just short but baiting the press to go long. Better touch from Smith-Rowe there and potentially 2-0.

What a goal that is for Fulham. Shows the importance of having flexibility in your build up. Had tried a number of avenues to go through so Leno makes the decision to go over/direct with quality. Secured and then punched in behind with a lovely finish. Class

I have always been a believer and supporter of playing out from the back. But, you have to have flexibility and recognise the picture. Sometimes the right option is to clear lines and reset. You become harder to play against as a result.

🧵 1/6 Had a nice little takeaway from my session tonight that I think many coaches could learn from. I designed a session that started with a simple 6v6 keep ball, which was supposed to transition into a 2 teams vs. 1 team possession and pressing exercise.
