To everyone I saw at Fantasy Forest Libertalia Saturday, it was a delight to see/meet you all! I'm very sorry if you turned up to the stage and the talk wasn't there, we got told we were at a workshop space 15 minutes before it started, and the event had no info or signage for us anywhere... (1/6)

In the background are portable toilets, and the one on the left is supposedly the accessible stall. It is slightly larger than the standard stalls and is level with the ground instead of on raised blocks, however it is still a plastic cabin that is not large enough to fit a powered wheelchair - like the one in the picture - inside. Within the stall there are no sanitary bins, no proper grab rails, not enough space for a manual chair and an attendant to help the wheelchair user, and the only hand cleaning option is a sanitiser dispenser. The flush also operates with a stiff lever which is not plausible for many either. The door is heavy and does not have easy to use handles or locks for those with limited dexterity.

This is just me, my face, at the end of a very long day and about 4 hours into the journey home. I'm parked in the wheelchair space on the train and this is a portrait shot of my head and shoulders. I am wearing a black shirt with a v-neck style, with my wedding rings on a necklace around my neck (because I have had issues re-sizing them and am worried about my hands swelling through pregnancy causing issues)
I am wearing large clear glasses, the frames are dark purple with an askew rounded rectangle shape to the lenses. My hair is loose and layered, with pink at the top fading into purple then black at the ends. I have some matching coloured eyeshadow and black lipstick.

Making a proper start on Persephone for October! Starting with the wreath, it's going to be a long process... I tried machining the edges but it looked awful so I'll be hand embroidering them, though that also means it will take FOREVER! #cosplay #cosplayWIP #embroidery #hadesgamecosplay #hadesgame

Another #CosplayWIP update for #Hypnos #Hades2Hypnos #HadesCosplay #HadesGame Finished 40 hours of styling on the wig, and probably another 5 hours on the eye mask (including making a test piece to check the design and sizing, which I may keep as a spare for people to use for photos at MCM?...)

An eye mask made from pale purple fabric, with an embroidered design that looks like gold eyes with red centres. There is also black thread for the outlining, and red ribbon as the attachment on each side. The background is a table with a yellow mat and some scissors.

The eye mask placed askew on a styled white wig, which is on a polystyrene head stand on a slightly messy table because I still had things out on there like drinks, supplies, and shopping in the background.

More progress on the #Hypnos cosplay - this is around 30 hours of work on the wig, as I've been taking each tiny section and coating it in glue stick on both sides, making sure it's smooth, then pressing in each wave of the curls one by one with a straightener. #Hades2 #HadesGame #CosplayWIP

A cosplay plan. At the bottom are the sprite images of Hypnos from Hades and Hades 2. Above there's a blank image of pyjamas, and beneath they have been coloured red and gold to imitate the robes from the first game, and icons of the bonds forged characters have been added across the outfit interspersed with pomegranates. There wasn't one for Melinoe at the time so "Mel" is written on the left front pocket of the top instead.

Time and again I remember how wonderful the conventions in London are - where everyone's having fun, celebrating fandoms, and the unapologetically and openly LGBTQIA+ vibes are *flawless*. So many stalls with pride themed merch or decorations, and the welcoming, loving atmosphere. It's the best💖

My next #cosplay plan (to start in JANUARY or so help me you need to stage an intervention) will be #Hypnos from #Hades2 - but I don't know what to make to go under the blanket he "wears" (I'm not wearing my birthday suit) so... Vote time? I'll describe the options in replies, most likes will win!
