Camping in Miquelon Park. Gravel section roads from a Camrose start, no issues. Camp set up, check. Birds scouted on Merlin - check, the usual suspects, no new ones. Supper with carbonara ramen pack, cooked in beef jerky and carrot broth, check. One match fire! Now the party has started.

A slow meandering prairie river winds through a wide river basin. Tire tracks from large machinery create muddy ruts in the sandy soil.
Some cloud cover in blue skies hint at a beautiful sunset soon to occur.A gravel road ascends a low wide river valley. At least half the basin is marsh and prairie grasses.
Far up the roadway, a lone cyclist with many bags attached to his little bike climbs the hill.
The cyclist is me.An old green girder bridge spans a slow winding river and basin. The low flat wide banks are filled with prairie grasses and small scrub brush.
The roadway is loose gravel and old cement pavement for the bridge surface.
Not pictured are huge clouds of large and annoying sand mites.A paved multi-use-path made of asphalt of varying condition runs along side a gravel section road for several kilometres.
The area is scrubby woodland, and the skies are half filled with clouds.

The sign reads; ‘Breathe Inhale Be Thankful’An open grassed field contains a grand wooden sign declaring a municipal park and playground.
