Went to an old friend’s farm last night. He still has this old timey phone in his house and it still works! Another friend tried it out and was reminded of how slow dialling on rotary is.

This book came in to the library today and I had to Google “emu vs ostrich” because it’s set in Australia but that looks like an ostrich, doesn’t it?

My library opened a new branch last week. We converted the basement of a community centre into our new location. The miniature wooden chairs are reused from a defunct children’s org and I think they’re adorable!
