Davina's diabetes isn't as under control as we'd like, so she's got a glucose monitor to get a clearer picture She's had to wear a onesie for a few days to stop her messing, she was so unimpressed that she jumped into the bed to yell at me But that does mean the pain meds are helping her hips..! 😂

Penblwydd hapus a Davina! She's still very much a baby, but also is now 17. She spends most of her days curled up next to O, or swaddled in my arms. She loves kisses on the side of her head and chicken, and disapproves of any change of routine or anyone else being the centre of attention

Let there be light! Are they battery operated, yes. Are they so cheap the remotes affect both, yes. Are they held up with blu tac abs command strips, yes! BUT! They're up, and you can't really tell how much it a bodge job they are unless you're really really close 😁

Today we took Emo to the ER vet, but the blood clot we knew was inevitable had arrived. We are devastated, he was loving, cuddly, such a personality. But we know he had the best life & was loved by many more than just us. We're taking some time, cuddling Davina & allowing ourselves to be sad

Another day, another appointment! This was rheumatology, to help confirm that it's 'just' fibro and excessive stiffness from untreated hypermobility, which he did! I can start with rehab/physio/pain management Bonus, hospital is an hour on the bus, loads of reading done 😂 #ChronicPainLife
