Lily of the valley #Mayblooms today #white #photography #naturephotography #flower #macro #nature #attheforestfloor #EastCoastKin #wildlife #ArtYear

A close-up photograph of a delicate Lily of the Valley plant in a soft, green forest setting. The main focus is on a single, slender stem arching gently to the left, adorned with small, bell-shaped white flowers hanging down. Each flower is smooth and rounded, and they gradually increase in size from top to bottom. The plant is surrounded by large, smooth green leaves, and the background is softly blurred, giving a dreamy, tranquil feel. Gentle sunlight filters through the foliage, creating a peaceful and natural atmosphere.

In the forests and meadows of my homeland, the native #orchids are now beginning to bloom. One of the first is the pale orchid (Orchis pallens). Have you spotted any orchid yourself? #photography #naturephotography #flower #spring #forest #ForestFriday #EastCoastKin #scape

In the center of the image stands a single, delicate wildflower with a cluster of pale yellow and white blossoms. The flower rises vertically from the ground and is sharply in focus, standing out against a soft, dreamy background. The background is a blur of green shades, suggesting a lush forest or meadow. The out-of-focus green tones create a peaceful, almost ethereal atmosphere, making the flower appear as the quiet focal point of the natural scene.

A stormy winter's day by the sea #Iceland January 2025 #acoloradAypril #grey #scape #seascape #smArtist #ICM #Ocean #sea #nature #beach #coast #coastal #photography #EastCoastKin #PhotographersofBluesky

This image captures a restless and moody seascape. Large ocean waves roll in from the distance toward the foreground, their surfaces textured with white foam. The water appears in shades of deep gray and bluish tones, blending into the overcast sky above.

The sky is almost the same color as the sea, creating a soft, misty horizon that makes it hard to tell where the ocean ends and the sky begins. There's a sense of motion in the waves, suggesting the wind is strong and the sea is turbulent.

The overall atmosphere of the image is quiet but intense—evoking the raw, untamed power of nature in a cold and remote coastal setting.

The sky is gray and appears cloudy, while fine snowflakes can be seen in the air. The whole scene conveys a cold, harsh atmosphere that is typical of geothermal areas in winter climates.

The image captures the dramatic eruption of a geyser in a snowy landscape. A powerful column of water and steam shoots into the air from the center of a deep blue pool. The water appears almost frozen in motion, with a misty spray surrounding the main jet.

In the foreground, the ground is covered with patches of snow and ice, contrasting with the dark, rocky surface. The middle ground reveals the geyser’s circular basin, where water is surging upwards. The background features a wintery scene with leafless trees and a cloudy, overcast sky, emphasizing the cold and harsh environment. The entire scene conveys the raw power of nature in a geothermal setting.

Hi from Germany! Come along if you like some nature photography

The image shows a winter river landscape with flowing water and an icy rock formation.

The upper part of the image is dominated by calm, turquoise water, which gently fades into darker tones. A long exposure time makes the water appear soft and misty.

In the right part of the image, a dark rock protrudes from the water, partially covered with an irregular, partially transparent layer of ice. The layer of ice has a rough, textured surface with traces of snow on it and frayed, almost jagged edges.

The lower part of the image shows the flowing water flowing over rocks, shown in a soft, blurred white, which creates a strong contrast to the sharp-edged ice. The combination of cool blue, dark rocks and white ice gives the image a wintery, almost mystical atmosphere. (Text AI assisted)

A picture and some details of the stunning Brúarfoss for #waterfallwednesday #PhotographersUnited #PhotographerOfBlueSky #Photography #landscapephotography #winter #snow #nature #waterfalls_and_waves #waterfalls_of_the_world #waterinmotion #EastCoastKin

The image shows a winter landscape with a turquoise blue river winding through a snow-covered environment.

In the foreground, the water flows quickly and appears soft and misty due to the long exposure time. The river has a striking, almost glowing blue color that stands out strongly against the dark rocks and white snow.

Further back, the river splits into several small waterfalls that cascade over rocks. The environment is covered in snow, with the occasional bare shrub and tree along the banks.

In the background, snow-capped mountains stretch out under a gray, cloudy sky. The whole scene appears cold, peaceful and majestic, with a strong contrast between the movement of the water and the calm, wintery landscape. (Text AI assisted)

The image shows a flowing river with a mix of blue and dark tones. The water appears soft and misty due to a long exposure time, creating a gentle, flowing effect.

To the right of the image lies a dark rock partially covered by a thin, snow-white layer of ice. This layer of ice has an irregular, almost organic shape, with slightly wavy edges that protrude above the stone. The combination of the icy white and the dark rock creates a strong contrast to the flowing, turquoise water.

The overall mood of the image is cold and calm, with a mix of movement in the water and stillness in the ice. (Text AI assisted)

A morning mood in Saxon Switzerland #PhotographersUnited #PhotographerOfBlueSky #Photography #landscapephotography #scapes #mountains

The picture shows a picturesque landscape with a forested table mountain shrouded in thick fog. The sky is lit up in warm orange and pink tones, suggesting a sunrise or sunset. The silhouette of the mountain stands out gently from the hazy hills behind it. The fog gives the scene a mystical and calm atmosphere, while light stripes of clouds can be seen in the sky. Overall, the picture is very atmospheric and invites you to dream. (AI-assisted)
