In January I had the incredible fortune to observe #PolarStratosphericClouds, also known as #nacreous or #motherofpearl clouds, in the #nightsky in #Iceland. They were illuminated by the #moonlight and are rarer to observe than the #aurora. #EastCoastKin #AlphabetChallenge #WeekMforMulticoloured

On a beautiful cloudy afternoon, I was capturing sea gulls flying among the turquoise ocean & white sand dunes of South Africa's De Hoop Nature Reserve. This was my favourite - an impressionistic rendition, brought to completion by a ghostly figure, seemingly suspended above this surreal landscape.
