Got to watch ‘Tony’ at the theater and I couldn’t hold back the tears. On it’s own, without any knowledge of the man or the BTS stuff of his No Reservations or Parts Unknown series, fhe movie is an incredible coming of age story. Brilliant performances by Sessa and Banderas (give them Oscars).

Third game I have purchased this year.

Tried the Orbitals demo with my thirteen year old and we were marking out pretty hard. i ordered a physical copy so fast my head is still spinning. Arrives tomorrow. Was always excited by the art direction and style. This will make the wait for FF Resonance more bearable.

Quick public announcement: Your ass will feel like it hasn’t been wiped only after you walk out the door. Stay safe out there.

“Three times the size of rdr2” is not a value proposition. That’s a jail sentence.

Just found out someone vandalized our Palestinian mural that we worked two months on. I can’t even…

Used my day off yesterday to help assemble two bed frames for two kiddos, get a workout in , make a costco run, buy nee work clothes and grill burgers for everyone. My body is screaming at me this morning. Glad I took tylenol before bed last night.

I have my first work day off tomorrow and that’s cool. Hell yeah I’m going to do drugs.

It’s a helluva thing to wake up at 4:30am and get ready at work just as your teen is getting back home hanging with their friends.

Bingo looking rough in that new Bluey movie trailer.

That last scene in the latest Ted Lasso episode should win two acting awards.

Popcorn is fucking disguisting. That shit smells like a thong that lived far up someone’s ass for thirty consecutive days in 100 degree heat (Celcius please).

Gosh it is great to have Ted Lasso back. So glad I only recently marathoned that show for the first time this year.

Celebrating a month at the new job. My life has changed dramatically in ways I hope I can share soon. New friends, meaningful work, living authentically, hoping I’m just doing what I can to better someone’s life. I know mine is. For the first time in a long time, I’m in my element.

Y’all I’m so high, that I went into the pantry and annihilated four grabola bars forgetting that I had just finished cooling wontons four minutes ago. Also I had to go back to the pantry to look for the word ‘granola’ on the wrapper before I hit ‘Post’

Honestly between the football, basketball and … football results this year, it’s been a great year for sports.

Ran into a beautiful group of volunteers last weekend spending their time and efforts to restore a vandalized Palestinian mural. They invited me to join them this weekend and that I did.

First work week in the bag. Gonna try and drag my tired ass to downtown for me time. Not so easy when the entire city is outside your doorstep to celebrate the annual fireworks show right across the street. Gonna need my politicians to run HeeHaw reruns every july 4th so these fuckers stay home

Sore as heck this morning but here I am on a bus heading to join community to cheer this year’s parade.

020

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Spent 6 hrs downtown today. Started on the transit bus. By the time we get downtown, 17 others, including families, to celebrate pride for authenticity. And then for 4 hours it was just a lot of me walking solo either to eat at my fave place , playing pool or people watching on the street.

030

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

I have 7 hours to stare at my closet and decide what I’m wearing to Pride later today.

Spoke to an 81 year old man and got to hear a bit of his story as a third generation Washingtonian. To think I would have missed out on this gift were I not using the transit bus for transportation.

Katina run done. This has always been the most challenging route for me to complete moreso than the ‘hard route’. Hitting those warps on Mateo are, thankfully, far easier in this game than past entries. Only thing left to do is the SectorX to Z warp route.

My long time internet friend (and I mean long time), @ohgodwhatdoiput.bsky.social , had a nice surprise for me this morning . Thank you!!!!

Third done. Just one more to unlock Katina.

The Bear s5ep1 was so good. It feels so great to have this show here and now .

Second play through done. They made so many cool cinematics to go with the different routes. One more…

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

Gonna run through all the stages and scenarios in Star Fox in docked mode first. The visuals and HDR (which has thankfully been improved on the switch 2) are absolutely bonkers. That said, I’m looking forward to playing it on handheld to see how it performs.

010

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

First playthrough done. Where to begin: just majestic across the board. Some parts felt harder while others easier. They enhanced so much of the weaker elements of 64 including the true boss form. I’m in absolute awe of how beautifully this turned out. Incredible work from Velan Studios, damn.

000

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

The new orchestral reimagining of the Star Fox music is worth the price tag alone. Also, I am super happy I skipped the demo.

000

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

The Bear season 5 and Starfox out during my last free weekend for a minute. While the kids are away camping. Bless.

It’s been wild checking in on Price is Right over the years since Drew took over. I just watched my first episode in a few months and watching the crew corpse over some of these contestants is always a good time. Any decade. Wild that he’s been at it for almost 20 years.

010

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

Got the green light for my first day at new job this coming Monday. New boss has been super communicative and sensitive today. I still have time to get my neurons to feel excitement instead of anxiety. It’s happening. Somehow, I persevered.

040

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

Sonic Frontiers worth it for the mini fishing game and its music alone.

121

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

Granblue Fantasy Relink performance on Switch 2 is disappointing. Hoping that gets fixed; design-wise, it’s always felt like an arena style beat em up so I’m surprised it would be that demanding on most current devices.

000

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

It just occurred to me just how healing it has been to not hear from the old work crew. I was an outlier, culturally speaking, and I feigned niceness for way too long. Great at my job, we got along but I was looking for an exit ramp for awhile. It was too bad it took them to find one for me.

030

Jemma @jemmasevolution.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

Fini. Onto StarFox next, I guess.
