iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I took my son last weekend to see it. It’s so fun sharing that with him. I was 8 when this originally was in theaters. It’s cool to see it again 40 years later.

That’s definitely a factor, but also how music was distributed changed dramatically. A lot of us would find everything in bookstores and we’d have our little scene. Once Underoath broke out a lot changed as well.

They did an update on their jerseys this year. Not a big change but the purple has been punched up

Next one Wild Nothing - Empty Estate EP This band (more one guy with a band) is one of my favorites. I’m glad they released this EP on vinyl. There’s not a bad release in the entire discography.

Good morning! First one Depeche Mode - Violator To have your best and most well known record be the SEVENTH one is fascinating. It’s a good reminder to keep going

I think if this stuff wasn’t being done like an arms race or getting to the moon I’d be more willing to accept that there are good things about it. We have the whole thing anchored to the economy and it’s not doing anything truly helpful.

I’ve thought about watching that, but I don’t think I want a reminder of how awful this is going to become.

True leadership is Posting ai motivational scripts in group chats Having teams calls twice a month to “hold people accountable” because leadership is “holding me accountable” saying “we need to do better”

Imagine getting a serious shot to win a game, nearly blowing it, getting the call to revive your chance, and then being cowards…..WHILE YOUR OWNER IS ON THE SIDELINE
