I cannot believe that it's eight days until my wedding and the 1password chuds are making me add "change my password manager" to my bloody todo list. outrageous
An email from me to business@1password.com:

Hi there,

Been subscribed since 2019. Loved your product.

Just to add to the numbers of people who are cancelling because 1Password is now sponsoring Omarchy. While your PR bods may insist this is only to support the technical work involved in the project, and make no personal endorsement of its figurehead, Mr. Heinemeier Hansson, or his views, you know that’s nonsense. He is very publicly the face of the project and makes no effort whatsoever to separate his personal views from his work.

If you want to give money to organisations whose leader calls for ethnic cleansing,  you’d have been wise to follow other tech leaders and make those donations on a personal level, so there’s at least a paper-thin veneer between their views and that of their organisation. I cannot in good conscience maintain my 1Password subscription knowing that part of that money goes directly towards supporting the spread of fascism.

Kind regards,

Hi, its me. The warmest creature in the world. I love
you. Im the warmest creature in the world and I love
you so much and I need to be in your lap right now.
Yes, I know about the heat wave. That's okay though
because I was already the warmest creature in the
world so l don't mind. I love you and you need to let
me sleep in your lap right now. I'm soooo warm and
I love you sooo much. If you say no you'll be saying
no to a thing that love you. Let me sleep in your lap.
When I fall asleep I get warmer. I love you

heathrow is so incredibly sorry to hear that your flight is delayed. truly, a tragedy. but did you know there are many ways in which to spend money at heathrow? heathrow is delighted to announce this. but they're also, like, so sorry your flight is delayed. awful, really
A screenshot of my flight info on the Heathrow website, where my flight to Oslo shows it's delayed by 70 minutes. Further down, Heathrow chimes in with a "haven't you people heard of spending your goddamned money" by offering direct links to the restaurants, shops, and lounges at Heathrow. Thanks Heathrow. Love you.

won't somebody please think of the retired corporate financiers sitting on a large pile of unearned wealth
Older homeowners, or those who have owned their property for a long time and watched its value soar over the years, are expected to be hardest hit by the changes.

This is the case for Nick Miller and his wife, Carolyn, who have lived in their detached home in East Sheen for three decades.

After putting the house on the market in summer 2024, a sale fell through this spring and they have subsequently reduced the price several times to the current £2m asking price, meaning it remains within the surcharge bracket.

"It won't help our case - it's just more burden for buyers," said Miller, a
retired corporate financier. "We may have a better chance if interest rates come down again in December."

A ring-tailed coati sits in a tree where the branch splits into a Y shape, but you can't see much of its tail. It looks almost like a European badger with brown/auburn fur, but without the stripey markings, and a longer snout, which is mostly all black.
