#booksky For those of you that like reading historical nonfiction, I would recommend a book I read years ago. Its titled "Is Paris Burning" a d deals with the retaking of Paris by the allies in WW2, and the German general that disobeyed Hitler's order to destroy Paris.

Please dont invite me or my brothers to your Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. I am on duty at the fire station tomorrow, and every year we get invited after someone tries to deep fry a turkey and starts a fire. PLEASE BE CAREFUL DOING THAT.

I oppose the banning of any books, for any reason. I have a question for others that agree with me... Would you be willing to let your child read mein kamps, knowing who wrote it? If it's in the school library, would you set an age limit on who can read it?

I have decided... Any person that actually seeks to be POTUS should be barred from ever holding the office. I dont care what party they are with.

I need volunteers. The fire department I'm on just had our hoses pressure checked by the state. It something every dept has to do yearly. Now we have 2000 feet of 5 inch hose to role up and put back on the truck. Any volunteers to help?

While I dont agree with Trump threatening to use the military to remove people in the US illegally, I am reminded of Clinton's 1998 SOTU, where he bragged about the number of illegals he removed. Democrats applauded him for that. What's changed since then?

I'm gonna preface this by saying I think Trumps cabinet picks make no sense and we need experience in those jobs. But was that same opposition to Bidens picks? What made a small town mayor qualified to be SecTrans? Pete Buttigieg had no experience, and yet nobody complained about him.

If the charges against Matt Gaetz are true, than I will lead the chorus to get rid of him. However, the only people that know the truth are the ones that were there. And women have lied before about SA, I refer you to the Duke University Lacrosse Team. So for now, I'm skeptical of the charges.

I support releasing the house ethics investigation into Matt Gaetz, but I have a question. What happens if the investigation clears him? Will people accept it? Will they believe it?

Dr. Ben Carson should be appointed to head HHS, not RFK. He is knowledgeable, intelligent and an all around better choice.

Why are people so stupid? Forgive the venting but it needs to be said... DONT DRIVE OVER FIRE HOSES!!! Those hoses are providing water to protect firefighters and put out a fire. Driving over them could cause them to rupture, and that could get people killed. DONT DRIVE OVER FIRE HOSES!!

This is gonna get me in trouble, but here goes I am a conservative libertarian. My politics are simple, love who you want, worship whatever god you want, live your life however you want. As long as it doesn't involve child abuse, do whatever you want. If you wanna marry your sibling, if you are gay

I have an idea for Congress. Give everyone in congress a kendo stick and the party that has the most people standing after 10 minutes runs congress till the next presidential election. If nothing else it would be fun to watch.
