Ok I’m home. I have ten fewer teeth on my upper jaw than I did this morning. But I also have Vicodin, a bed, and a kitten sleeping at my feet. Weighed myself before the surgery. I’m confident I’ll drop weight thanks to a liquid diet followed by three months of soft foods

I might be MIA for a while here. On Wednesday morning, the dentist will be removing all my upper teeth. It’s a long story. Eventually, prosthetics will go in. But at least the next week or two is going to suck a lot.
