The FIFA Peace Prize is a special annual award established by the sport’s governing body in 2025. The award will be presented each year to individuals who “helped to unite people all over the world in peace.” The inaugural prize was awarded to U.S. President Donald Trump during the group stage draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in December 2025.

It's not like the SS are coming. It's like the SS's colleagues who also call themselves the SS are coming.
Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi will meet the US ambassador to Italy on Tuesday “to clarify” the scope and scale of ICE operations there, added Tajani. “It’s not like they’re the ones on the streets of Minneapolis,” the foreign minister said. “It’s not like the SS are coming.

Hello from Denver where it is absolute gorgeous. My phone says it is 60 degrees, but that has to be wrong. The forecast says that a snowstorm will start later on. That will be something. Fuck Elon Musk. No kings but us.

Trump again #47idiots
Going anti-vax after his one big success was the COVID vaccine. Not understanding tariffs. Nominating a sex pest for AG. Nominating (and confirming!) a sex pest for Secretary of Defense. Claiming the constitutional authority to ignore the Constitution on birthright citizenship. Wasting water reserves to fight a fire that was already under control and somewhere else. Tough negotiations with Canada and Mexico to get them to do things they were already doing. Okay, obviously not an exhaustive list! Threatening war with Greenland. Finding an even bigger liar than himself to make the government more “efficient.” The Gulf of America! Firing nuclear safety experts without realizing it and scrambling to hire them back. Trying to fix air safety – which wasn’t a problem before he took office.

Biden #47idiots
After narrowly avoiding constitutional disaster with the 2020 election and January 6th, Joe Biden spent the interregnum between Trump presidencies governing as if everything was back to normal.

Trump #47idiots
Jesus, where to start with Donald Trump? Lying about being “Michigan Man of the Year.” The stack of blank papers that were supposed to address his business conflicts. Frederick Douglass doing an amazing job and being recognized more and more. Claiming you need a photo ID to buy cereal. Drawing on a hurricane map because he was wrong. Throwing paper towels to hurricane victims. Space Force. Tim Apple. Marillyn Lockheed. Claiming windmills cause cancer. Saying COVID was under control. Recommending bleach injections. Lying that he was invited to throw a first pitch before Dr. Fauci was. Four Seasons Landscaping!

Obama #47idiots
Barack Obama came to prominence by asserting that there was no "red
America" or "blue America." In retrospect, he may have overstated the case.

W Bush #47idiots
Sure, George W Bush got us into a war with a country that didn't attack us because of weapons that they didn't have as if no one would find out. But get this: Six weeks into the war, he stood in front of a huge "Mission Accomplished" banner. Brilliant.

Lyndon Johnson #47idiots
Lyndon Johnson's experience in Congress made him one of the most effective presidents at getting his preferred legislation passed. It didn't help him end the Vietnam War, which is the main thing we remember.

Kennedy #47idiots
In his short presidency, foreign policy whiz John F Kennedy managed to give us the Bay of Pigs fiasco, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the beginning of the Vietnam War.

Truman #47idiots
When Republicans attacked him for being soft on communism, Harry Truman tried to neutralize the issue with a "loyalty order" that investigated federal employees and created a list of subversive organizations, which set the stage
for Joseph McCarthy's rise a few years later.

Franklin Roosevelt #47idiots
In his twelfth year as president, Franklin Roosevelt learned that his heart was failing. He ran for reelection anyway and died a few months into his fourth term. Two years later, the Constitution was amended to limit presidents to two terms.

Warren G Harding was a popular president when he died of a heart attack. His reputation survived only slightly longer as word got out that his cabinet had been filled with crooks. One of them went to prison.

Woodrow Wilson was the only president to have lived under the Confederacy. In an amazing coincidence, he was a huge racist, who loved segregation and iokes about "darkies."

Taft #47idiots
William Howard Taft was Theodore Roosevelt's hand-picked successor.

Cleveland again #47idiots
Ex-President Grover Cleveland had opinions about women's suffrage, writing in the Ladies Home Journal

Beniamin Harrison tanked his popularity with a huge tariff that raised prices. On the bright side, the tariff created a budget surplus that he and Congress spent away.

Grover Cleveland skipped out on the Civil War by paying an immigrant to fight in his place. His substitute survived the war. Maybe Cleveland wouldn't have?

Arthur #47idiots
