As much as I want to be mad at the game being a game-key, because yes it sucks, I don't have the energy to be anymore. Plus at least it IS a physical copy, even if it is still digital download. I'm more concerned for the people on Shopify US that had their pre-orders cancelled.

So from my research, what's happened is that Oaktree Capital Management merged Filmrise and Shout Factory (now called Shout Studios) into one holding company called Radial Entertainment in 2025. The Shout Factory site was discontinued in November. That's as much as I can see as definitive right now.

In the beginning I was a little more harsh on Game Key cards. After Sony and Microsoft's missteps recently I'm a little lighter on them. One, for the reason specified earlier. Two, it's still a PHYSICAL cart, even if it is just an entitlement key.

#9 Bart vs. the Space Mutants (1991, NES) Out of sheer stubborness I thought it'd be funny to play this game, given my tendency to play bad games (see herein when I played Lightspeed Rescue N64 last year for the previous thread). WHOO BOY, I DO NOT LIKE THIS GAME. Even in a genuine sense.

#8 Mystery Case Files: Prime Suspects (2006, Big Fish) via port from MSL/Engine Software for Nintendo DS (2012/2013?) Not a bad item find puzzle game. I've certainly played worse. Had a lot of fun with this one.

Plus the Funi dub is hit or miss because they turned it into a gag dub like Ghost Stories, but falls flat on the execution. Also I'd argue Shinnosuke is even more crude in the Funi dub.

I can't speak for other dubs but in the US, the main problem they ran into was "how do we adapt this?" So the most common thing was to stitch together scenes of various episodes to make one for the US version (specifically Funimation). An earlier dub was done for Fox Kids but it didn't air here.

SPD is probably at the same level if not slightly under DT (as someone who watched it live on Toon Disney and some episodes on ABC Kids as a child), and Mystic Force is where the decline definitely begins to show. I actually stopped watching Mystic Force at a point but came back.
