2019 (I think) I binned about 30 of this style pots as I'd had them for over a decade and had gone completely solid. Wasn't until recently I found out I may have been able to revive them 🙈

Working on a Propagandist for my Inquisimunda campaign, and I had to make sure he had an efficient and venerable information network on his TV screens...

A Necromunda Propagandist - a character with loudspeakers mounted on his back and holding three TV screens on a pole, all connected to his backpack.

A closeup of the TV screens reveals they are displaying an Imperial version of Ceefax.

Same with Coraline! I can watch that for free on ITVX though

Thought I'd watch Tin-Tin on AppleTV... even with a sub, still need to pay to watch that, so thought I'd watch Attack on Titan instead as I noticed they had that... have to sign up for a different subscription, or pay for that per episode!

I used to have hundreds of Crayola crayons and pencils, and other art supplies (my Dad's aunt worked for Crayola in Bedford). This is what I've got leftover from those days (some bits not Crayola!)

The work on the background has begun! Mostly just sketching out where I want mangroves. I’ve got half of an idea of how I want it to look I did make a big mistake I can’t undo though. The second skink I merged and blurred as a test, but then it wouldn’t let me revert so it’s stuck that way now.

Sometimes it just takes a new day, and a new mindset to solve a problem. Well, that's another week down, and another week closer to running around the streets of Berlin to raise money for Get Kids Going. #BerlinMarathon #charity #fundraising www.justgiving.com/page/david-p...

Last night I slept better, and today I tried again. I had doubts, thinking my legs might be tired from yesterday's failure. I wanted to try though as I wasn't ready to give up yet. I convinced myself I could do it, and today I managed the 16 miles that were needed for this stage in the training plan

David G. Paul @jedi58.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

I was disappointed, and mostly walked home. It felt like this training block was not going to plan at all, and was questioning how possible Berlin Marathon would be. Would I end up walking most of it?

David G. Paul @jedi58.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Yesterday's training run for Berlin Marathon did not go to plan. I'd barely slept the night before, and felt like I'd got no energy. I tried anyway, and managed 2 miles before I needed to start taking walking breaks. I then got to about 4 miles and by this point I was walking more than I was running

Thanks so much for ID-ing it! That means it must be off Trajann Valoris as he's the only one I've ever painted 🤯 So that means I left a bit off him several years ago when I thought I'd finished, and it's sat on my desk since 🙈 Oops!

Looks like week 3 of 16 for training is going to be the warmest one yet... it could however be good practice for the day of the event if it's anything like last time I did this one. Could be quite challenging!

My dad has always had books on specific topics rather than encyclopaedia sets - easier to update and expand upon when needed (especially when a lot of reference books are outdated by the time they’re published).
