I've had a long stewing scheme for a Space Opera based on William Makepeace Thackeray's Vanity Fair. It's probably my most ambitious plan, and it's about 6 years in the making so far. It's got to have social climbing with galactic stakes, attitude and the most glorious villainess ever. #SFFchat.

I have three WIPs, but I've been talking about Lindsey this whole time, so I'll keep on with that. Lindsey is nominally employed as a medical aide by Doctor Tsang, who runs an underfunded community clinic. He's the only person who knows about her condition. (That is the dying thing). #SFFchat

This one's kind of difficult. In my current work, it's probably Hal's dad, Leonard. He's not a major character, seeing as he's dead and kindness is part of the reason for that. Just watched Dave Made a Maze. What a delightfully absurd film. There's not much in cinema that really gets "Weird" as a genre, but here I am wondering if it was an apt metaphor for creative angst or a fever dream I shared with my wife and I am here for it. #horror

My new least favorite thing about AI shit is that it's become almost impossible to search for writing prompt images, which I use pretty heavily. I really just want to be inspired by randomly selected beautiful images made by PEOPLE and all I find is AI trash. #Author #WritingCommunity
