Unsure of stream time tonight. I started playing Castlevania: Circle Of The Moon and I'm hooked on it. The way I play games like this, however, aren't really good for streaming so I'm doing this offline. May stream the final battle once there.

Tipping culture has certainly gotten a lot more psychotic and demanding in the past 5 years or so it seems. If I punch in an order myself, and the only thing the person on the other end is doing is handing me a bag, I am NOT leaving a tip. If I sit down at a place, sure. Fast food / to-go? No tip.

So tonight's plans are up in the air. I am currently making some homemade Buffalo Wings which I haven't done in a while, but am excited about the results. Once those are eaten, I might hop on for some CV1 NSG attempts, but likely will not do so until much later. Plan to do some races with the boys.

This, right here, is why I think CV3 as a speedrun is the most awful thing one can come up with. It's 90% RNG with a tiny bit of execution. Get birds who decide that they won't despawn off-screen or stay just out of range of your attacks? RNG determines that. www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6mB...

Went and gave the air cleaners in my home a full replacement. It's pretty remarkable how much crap accumulates over time. If you have an air cleaner going in your place, great! If you forget to clean/replace the filters regularly, well, not so great. Heh.

Heads up to any Castlevania Series Speedrunners on Twitch. "コナミ矩形波倶楽部" is going around causing every single current and historical stream of Castlevania to be muted. For now, the only recourse is to appeal and indicate that you are not using the music from their album. This takes a long time though.

I kind of slept in today and was super happy to wake up to see the reveal of the new 2D Metroid Game. That game looks super good. It's basically more Metroid Dread style which is what I wanted to see. Nice to see some love from the developers of Metroid, Zelda, and Castlevania for their 40th b-day.

Oh, by the way, if a 30 minute trailer of a videogame causes both Netflix and Twitch to crash and burn, just wait for release day. The PSN, Microsoft, and Steam servers will ALL BITE THE DUST! I expect massive crashes all over the place due to the companies being UNABLE to cover the bandwidth.

Fired up the stream for the first time in a while today. At the start, it did help me clear my head from the things troubling me, but then after a nice opening run the RNG once again put me on the left side of the Bell Curve and said I wasn't allowed to play. Now I'm back to feeling like shit.

My biggest fear is that because I was calling out toxicity in the workplace at my former job that I have been blacklisted in the industry and the companies have colluded to ensure I'm not hired. The way assignments at work were handled for me is what makes me think that is a possibility.

The worst thing about depression when job hunting is the rejections feel 1000x worse and the worry and fear and hopelessness feeling each time compounds itself. Just have zero appetite anymore which leads to zero energy which leads to no job hopes in my future. :(
