Is the third photo the inspiration for Stevie Nicks’ song “Silver Springs?” Maybe! From en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_...
From the Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Springs_(song):

I wrote "Silver Springs" about Lindsey. And we were in Maryland somewhere driving under a freeway sign that said Silver Springs [sic]. And I loved the name… Silver Springs sounded like a pretty fabulous place to me. And 'You could be my silver springs' – that's just a whole symbolic thing of what you could have been to me.

Update: the tree has leaves now.
A large, almost triangular tree full of leaves. It’s planted on a lawn and a few other trees are near it. The lawn and trees are bright green. A blue sky with a few clouds in it.

Spotted several small lion's mane jellyfish (Cyanea capillata) in the Bass River on Cape Cod. This is about 3 miles (5km) from the mouth of the river on the south side of the cape. It must be fairly salty for these to be here.

Photos of the #eclipse from my DSLR. These were take behind a beach on the northeast coast of the US. It's nearly dawn and when the moon was fully eclipsed I couldn't see it all. No blood moon. Went to the before the moon set but it was not possible to see it at all. Also it was 15F/-10C at 6:00am.
The nearly eclipsed moon. It's near dawn so the eclipsed part is mostly not visible with only the bit near the illuminated part slightly reddish. The nearly eclipsed moon over a scrubland behind a beach. Phone photo of the #eclipse. Taken from a beach parking lot. This is at 5:40am EST about 24 minutes before totality and 33 minutes before moonset.
Partially eclipsed moon seen over a scrubland behind a beach. It is almost dawn so the eclipsed part of the moon is dark instead of reddish.

I spotted this one in Dublin. Cipher of Edward VII but with a newer paint job.
A classic Royal mail cylindrical mailbox on a city sidewalk. You can see the next dispatch is at 5:30 pm. It had a Royal cipher of Edward VII. It’s painted green since it’s in Dublin.

That’s a great question. I just did a quick flip through my Sibley book. Ducks are a definite no. I had to get to hawks to find hook billed kite.
Image of part of the hook billed kite page of Sibley’s Birds East. The adult female had an orange breast while the male is gray.

A multi level feeding frenzy on Cape Cod Bay. On the surface there are mergansers. Above are many gulls. And high above are gannets. Occasionally the mergansers have to fly a bit to keep up.

Always something going on in the fridge.
The inside of a standard refrigerator. In the center are four plastic storage bins stacked on each other. On the bottom is cut up pineapple, then a largish one with spring mix salad stuff, then a smaller one with baby arugula. On top is an even smaller one with Luna moth cocoons.

Went to the movies tonight.
The movie poster for “The Grateful Dead Movie.” It shows a skeleton dressed in a red and white striped jacket, blue suede shoes and an Uncle Sam top hat. It’s on a mostly black background with two galaxy illustrations. The movie title is in green script above. The poster is inside a glass fronted white wooden holder with a peaked top. It’s in front of dark bushes since it’s night.

The Boston Globe: where the commeration of the 250th anniversary of the American revolution is in the Metro section. (They do have a front page photo and article as well.)
The paper copy of the Metro (or B) section of the April 20, 2025, edition of the Boston Globe. The page is mostly taken up with a photo of the reenactment of “the shot heard ‘round the world” on Lexington Green. There are several minute men laying “dead” on the green as columns of about 40 red coats march. Beyond you see hundreds of spectators held back by low temporary fences. Beyond that is a white church with a steeple. The article is titled “‘It reminds us of the American story .’” The sub hed is “Lexington and Concord mark 250th anniversary.”

It was too cloudy to see the eclipse today, so here are memories of past eclipse from 2021 and 2024.
Three people sitting on a beach looking (through eclipse glasses) at the rising, eclipsing, sun over the ocean. The eclipsing sun of June 10,2021, as seen through a filter. The nearly eclipsed sun projected from one half of a pair of binoculars onto a piece of white cardboard. The total eclipse of April 8, 2024. The sun is blurry but the sky is dark except at the horizon. You can see darkened trees at the bottom of the photo and a street lamp that is on due to the darkness.
