Douglas @jdr1969.bsky.social · 07/10/2026That link states it’s a short stay car park from 7am to 6pm but that’s just when you are need to pay. It’s ’open’ 24 hrs and there are no barriers. I parked from about 6am to 11pm no problem 000
Douglas @jdr1969.bsky.social · 07/10/2026And if you need to park your car I can recommend this car park. Both myself and Richard Bennett used it on the day. Pretty reasonable prices and pretty central www.harborough.gov.uk/directory_re...harborough.gov.ukCar parks - Doddridge Road car park - Entrance on Doddridge Road | Harborough District CouncilDoddridge Road car park - Entrance on Dodderidge Road 210

Douglas @jdr1969.bsky.social · 07/10/2026The opening times didn’t work for me on the day but The Garage Pizza looked really good 010
Douglas @jdr1969.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I’ve been twice. I went last October to see Charlotte Carpenter who gave me some tips as she lives locally and could give you a more detailed list but she advised a lovely walk behind The Waterfront Pub that takes you along a canal that I really liked. I wrote the lyrics in September 2020 and it felt weird to be singing this line right after the summer I was referring to, but I knew I’d be singing it into the future. 092

Douglas @jdr1969.bsky.social · 05/09/2026I used to pass a protest outside a local hospital every Friday morning when I went to the supermarket. They were removed a certain distance from the entrance and took position at a set of traffic lights. Every time the lights stopped me they got an earful of abuse.
