Mostly Hunts with a few Speedballs mixed in, nothing particularly fancy I don’t think iirc clogging is more about the ink than nibs. No acrylics, and India ink is sus as well, it’s too crusty for nibs. Scratching could be from having to press too hard, it should flow out real easy.

Her hair is parted and flows down her head and behind her shoulders. A photo of a black-on-white block print. (4/x) Edinburgh is a gorgeous city, really need to come back some day #film #filmphotography #streetphotography #edinburgh #scotland
A black and white photograph of a group of people milling around an old stone, castle-like structure. One large group of people are on ground level standing around a portcullis opening. Some other people are climbing up a long set of stairs on the right side of the picture, and a few others are just walking around.

Edinbugh Castle, ScotlandA black and white photograph of a street scene, taken from a sidewalk. The street is old and narrow with modern cars driving in one direction, the buildings on either side (also old, and made in stone) tower over the street. People walk down the left sidewalk away from the camera, below a sign on the far left "Virgin Hotels". The road drives through a tall arch supporting a crossing road, on top of which a double-decker buss is driving.

Edinburgh, ScotlandA black and white photograph of a shuttered street-front business. A sign over the shutters is for a bar named "Shenanigans", but it looks like it's out of business. The shutters are covered in graffiti, and spray painted on the wall next to it is "Free Palestine" and some other words.

Edinburgh, ScotlandA black and white photograph of a street scene. A bunch of cars, led by a London-style taxi, are driving into a roundabout. Buildings on either side are old and largely made of stone. In the distance, in the opening looking down the street, is Edinburgh Castle perched on a large cliff.

A black and white photograph looking down a city street from the sidewalk. The buildings on either side are stone and obviously old. A couple of modern cars drive along the road, and people walk on the sidewalks.

Edinbugh, ScotlandA black and white photograph of the front of an old building, looking down an opening in the building for an alley that leads to the rear of the building. On either side of the alley are stores, the one on the left showing "everything must go" signs. The opening has some ornate iron work, and is surrounded by various historical signs. One sign on the top says "Panmure Close"A black and white photograph taken close-up of a side entry of a gothic-style cathedral. Front and center is the doors of the entry way, in front of which are two people that might be about to go inside. Two massive pillars are on either side of the doors, a large collection of ornate windows are above them.

St Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh, ScotlandA black and white photograph of a large group of people standing scattered around a street. Most of the people are looking with interest at something just off of the left side of the frame. On the far side of the people is a wall of old stone buildings.

(2/x) We only had two days to go sightseeing, and since we were carrying along two toddlers it was slow going. Which is unfortunate since Edinburgh's a really cool city for taking pictures #film #filmphotography #streetphotography #edinburgh #scotland
A black-and-white photograph of a landscape scene. On the right is the ruins of a small gothic-style church, on the left is a pathway with people on it and rugged hilly terrain in the background. One of the people has stopped to take a photo of the ruins.

A black-and-white photograph of the Regent Bridge in Edinburgh, Scotland taken from below. The bridge is framed by two buildings, and is cast in shadow from the sun behind it.A black and white photograph of an old brick wall and a big utility box (or something). The bricks are roughly made; the mortar is thick and inconsistent, and has some plants growing from it. The utility box is graffiti-ed, and plastered with a poster for a show caleld "Dystopia: The Rock Opera". A black and white photograph of a castle-looking tower (Governor's House in Edinburgh, Scotland) sitting on the edge of a cliff face. The picture is taken looking from below, the tower silhouetted against the sky. The cliff is covered by many trees and scrubs. A black and white photograph looking down a street from the sidewalk. The street is bordered by two 20th century buildings, but they frame a castle-like structure sitting on a hill in the distance. Two cars are in the street, and people mill on the sidewalk.

Some shots from my first time using Ilford FP4. Maybe a little too flat out of the box for my taste, but it pretties up real nice in post and the detail is fab #film #photography #filmphotography #landscape #ashevillenc
A close-cropped black and white photograph of a building storefront. In the center is decorative art deco stonework on the facade, just to the left of an entryway advertising cocktails. A table and chairs are on the bottom, and a few fronds from a short palm jut out from the left edge. A black and white photograph of a foreboding liminal space. The focus on the bottom left are a few steps bathed in light, their lips worn down from a century of people climbing them. The rest of the frame is dark, but suggests a landing and a companion staircase. A black and white photograph of a forest stream. Taken from almost water height, the opposite bank and trees on it tower over the image, and are also reflected in the still water. The dark reflections are mottled by fallen leaves floating on the water. A black and white photograph of a tree sitting on the edge of a river bank, taken from below ground level. The tree’s root system has been exposed by erosion, turned into a gnarled network of roots that have been strengthened into structural members.
