Assume Trump builds his 250’ tall arch. It places a 25 story structure not far from Runways 15/33 and 01/19 at National Airport. The FAA in the next Democratic Administration should recommend removal for safety purposes since the real national security concern is the safe use of the airport.

The Ottawa (Canada) City Council voted unanimously today to rename "Trump Avenue," a residential street in an area with NYC street names. Councillor Riley Brockington said no other street in his ward generates anything near the volume of “constant” complaints Trump Avenue does. The new name is TBD.

Why stop at steam catapults? There’s all sorts of antiquated warfare tech Trump could order the US military to use. Examples trebuchets, ballistas, and siege towers.

Trebuchet — a medieval weapon used for hurling large stones and other things.

Ballista — here a modern reproduction of an ancient Roman weapon used for firing an iron bolt or stones, unless you were Hannibal and fired off bags of snakes and scorpions.

Siege Tower — tall wooden structure with fighters inside that could (somehow) be placed next to a castle or other wall, so your fighters could get into wherever they needed to be in order to fight the opposing side. Guns not permitted.

A brief history lesson: The WWI armistice (ceasefire) was signed on Nov 11, 1918 in a rail car at about 5am, going into effect at 11am Paris time. The armistice was extended several times until The Treaty of Versalles in 1919. The US-Iran MOU is closer to an armistice than a final treaty.

Trump repeatedly trots out a 8.5" x 11" paper with the Lincoln Reflecting Pool length compared to other structures. He often cites the Empire State Building. I asked the local LLM on my Mac to calculate the relative volumes, — IMHO a better comparison. The volume of the ESB is ~55x the LRF.
