But there is a silver lining: A couple hours ago I got a notification for the first time ever. Now there is a profile for me that’s not banned and it had an IRL picture of me as photo somehow. And a totally wrong birthday. Idk. Changed the password and now I can try the app.

I wish I still had mine. Got it around '03 and it was purple. Gave it to a friend later as they couldn’t afford one but then shortly after their mom passed and they moved away to a different country as they had family there and I’ve never seen them since. I’m still wondering what they’re up to today

I really can’t open any from of social media anymore without getting spoiled of Zootopia 2. Wish I could see the movie but I can’t go alone and no one is interested to drive with me to a different city because that’s the only cinema which has it in 2D. That RealD stuff makes me really sick.

Is that aging? I’m so happy that I finally conquered the gyroscopic issues of my washing machine. It always had a small, specific rpm range right before it spins where it rotated itself in place a couple degrees. Got some thin AEG silicone pads and now it stays like bolted on.

Even the streaming version listened through the right headphones makes my glasses fall from my face. And the streaming version smoothes out the extreme energy below 30hz. Listened through my big Elac speakers it’s a truly gut punching experience and I got nauseous because of it

If you’re a vinyl nerd and wanna stress test your system, get the Telarc version of Tchaikovskys 1812. Be warned, it’s totally capable of damaging the stylus and or blow out your speakers. The groove looks like rice fields when the cannons set in as they recorded actual cannons for this xD

Needless to say that you need a very long and thin screwdriver to reach them and it’s necessary to use a JIS driver, even tho it looks the same as philips/+. They are different and you will strip the screws if you use a + driver on there.

BTW I might add, there is a Chinese tutorial on how to fix this problem and they made a mistake in there that will break the camera. The top casing comes off very easy, but not after only removing the 8 screws on the top casing as they say but also the 2 screws in the battery compartment.

It took me longer to screw the casing back on than to fix the prism in the viewfinder. 5min to fix the prism, which a camera technician charges 100 bucks for and 20min to sort the screws and put them back to where they belong. Don’t wanna cut me threads in 30yo plastic…

BTW it’s a dick move by Nikon to use JIS00 screws with the same length but different thread pitch. And the thread is so small that the difference isn’t visible to the naked eye. Had to sort the screws under the microscope.

Had to fix the viewfinder display of my new to me Nikon F90X, the little prism got knocked loose. So I glued it back in. The tape holds 15kg/1m and I used 2 pieces 7x4mm, so it’s glued with 46g. The prism weighs 1.7g and it’s held on 3 sides by the case. I would call it a permanent fix.
