I really can’t open any from of social media anymore without getting spoiled of Zootopia 2. Wish I could see the movie but I can’t go alone and no one is interested to drive with me to a different city because that’s the only cinema which has it in 2D. That RealD stuff makes me really sick.

Is that aging? I’m so happy that I finally conquered the gyroscopic issues of my washing machine. It always had a small, specific rpm range right before it spins where it rotated itself in place a couple degrees. Got some thin AEG silicone pads and now it stays like bolted on.

If you’re a vinyl nerd and wanna stress test your system, get the Telarc version of Tchaikovskys 1812. Be warned, it’s totally capable of damaging the stylus and or blow out your speakers. The groove looks like rice fields when the cannons set in as they recorded actual cannons for this xD

Had to fix the viewfinder display of my new to me Nikon F90X, the little prism got knocked loose. So I glued it back in. The tape holds 15kg/1m and I used 2 pieces 7x4mm, so it’s glued with 46g. The prism weighs 1.7g and it’s held on 3 sides by the case. I would call it a permanent fix.

My dad is in Leipzig right now and I started an experiment: I told him to visit the manga store and pick one up for me. The rules were that it has to be the first book of a series and that he is not allowed to ask the workers for help. I got the message that he picked one up. I wonder what it’ll be!

The differences between PC and Mac: Forgot to turn both off when I went on con vacation for 3 weeks. Mac: Shrugs it off and complains that my Backup target was turned off for 3 weeks. PC: Breaks the whole windows installation and makes me work an hour to get it back up and running.

3h delay on my train home because of Trainsurfers. Saw them and called the cops. Actually the Bundespolizei, the German equivalent of the FBI. They were trying to climb on top of the engine on the moving train. Overhead wire has 15kV. So instead of 9pm I’m home now, at midnight.

I just learned, that part of my daily commute, pretty much in front of my door, is a Strava segment. It’s 333 meters with a 4% incline. Current KoM time is 28 seconds. Now I need to beat whoever is current record holder. No more commuting speed up there. It’s race time from now on

Buses have two modes. Too early or too late. Today I had the early type. It left whole 10min early. Therefore I missed it. I have to wait 30min in the cold and then another 30 at my changeover as I won’t make my connection. Maybe the next one is early as well so I don’t have to wait as long 🤷‍♂️

Heads up to all fellow Beatsaber Streamers/ Players who use the Cinema mod for music video integration. It stopped working a couple days ago as yt changed stuff. The mod got last updated in 03/23. Replace the yt-dlp and ffmpeg exe files in the libs folder with the newest version and it works again ✌️
