Didn’t include Jeffers bc 1. The Twins have to make a QO 2. It has to be rejected 3. The compensation depends on the size of the contract he signs with another org. Felt like too many variables to confidently forecast.

With no inflation factored in, assuming the Twins don’t move up in the lottery and assigning them a back end Comp A pick, looks like the bonus pool for 2027 will be ~$14,500,000 That would have been tenth largest this year. Should have four T100 picks and one more a smidge outside.

If Kala’i Rosario makes the majors in 2027, three of the Twins four picks from the 2020 draft will have made the majors. Cant say that was on my bingo card.

Additionally, 2023 draft: 2.6 fWAR this season (Jenkins and Keaschall) 2024 draft: 0.7 fWAR (Culpepper) with Diaw and Kendle in the upper minors. Question remains - why have the bats overtaken the arms so dramatically?

One of the reasons Sabato took a big step forward at AAA this season was an incredible level of in-zone aggression. I’d expect him to get a diet of breaking and off-speed stuff just out of the zone in the big leagues. #MNTwins

Seward is the top HS bat - switch hitting SS with blazing speed Lawson maybe the top college bat. Couple front of the rotation arms (Valincius, Whitney). Not ready to stack guys, tier wise.

Maybe, but I don’t think he’s a catcher. Caught 9% of base stealers. His skill set is very similar to Keaschall. Doesn’t chase, really good bat to ball, no real defensive home that’s logical given lack of power.

Emmanuel Rodríguez has a 153 wRC+ at AAA through 41 games in 2026. I know the #MNTwins don’t need another left-handed hitting outfielder, but it behooves them to get a look before the end of 2026, imo.
