Maybe ~2,000 swings from May through August. Still my favorite part of our place.

JD Cameron @jdcameron.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

Just found my Lindy’s Baseball Preview write up of new #MNTwins catcher Vahn Lackey (penned October 2025). Lines up pretty solidly.

I mentioned a few times in the lead up to the draft that I don’t love Cholowsky’s swing. Feels affirming to have your eval underlined a bit (still think he’ll be a great player).

That’s an option Eric, it’ll even save you 20%

There’s a tree in our yard that’s incredibly gnarly looking for 360 days of the year. Then, for 3-5 days at the beginning of May each year, it looks like this…

JD Cameron @jdcameron.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

IMO updating T100 prospects monthly is content production gimmick. Generally, 25 MiLB games isn’t enough of a sample for a meaningful correction to a prospect evaluation. Beginning, middle, and end of season is just fine.

Excited to report that our grass has given up (appropriately) in some spots in our yard ❤️

No more tennis balls for dogs. I’ll be throwing all 100 of these at my 7 year old as hard as I can. He gets a bat to defend himself

Gabby Gonzalez home run, 104 mph off the bat. Having a hard time keeping up tbh. #MNTwins

Walker Jenkins 107 mph double off Jordan Wicks (couldn’t get open side after Culpepper leadoff bomb) #MNTwins

Did I know Kaelen Culpepper was gong to hit a leadoff bomb? Yes. #MNTwins

And a final example if you want to save more with the #3 pick. I took Jackson Flora here and leaned into the prep class more.

This quote from Jeffers on Zebby can be applied to several young #MNTwins pitchers as their most critical 2026 next step - most notably, Connor Prielipp

There’s a reason Tom Pohlad wants to ‘get off’ payroll, and it’s going to stress him increasingly. There’s a tension between his almost throwaway ‘we will compete’ energy (as if he can simply will it), and the reality that the Twins are an under-resourced organization, by the design of their owners

JD Cameron @jdcameron.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

Most generous 6.6 I’ve ever seen. One of the worst 45s I’ve ever seen in my life. Jogging around, misplaced every pass, liability tracking back. Woeful.

So I’ve been plugging away at MLB Draft coverage for a few years now, and today was a cool day for me. Went to a book store, bought a magazine and my pre-season draft T50 was inside. I hate the list now 🤣, but incredibly grateful to have a piece of work like this, preserved in print.

Here's my first #MNTwins prospect writeup on Gumroad. I dug into Jason Reitz, the 6'11 RHP selected in the 4th round of the 2025 MLB Draft. Access the full writeup for $1 (snippet of what you get in the screenshot below). jdcameron.gumroad.com/l/Reitz
