We’ve come so far. Games that still have “small percentage of gamers will experience…” slapped on your load screen yah really need to look into game accessibility. Start addressing strobing lights & flashing patterns. Especially if you’re a remaster/remake. Looking at you Alan Wake Remastered.

Today I made the choice of cancelling my Wolverine preorder. I will likely buy the game at a later date. However with how prices are lately I can’t justifying paying so much for a game that’s just “good”. I was ready to swallow the cost, but thankfully the PS Store refund system worked for me.

Can’t help but think how many product designers are looking at iPhone Duo, and gotta rejig their apps. Gotta make at UX flow! Hopefully responsive designed apps get you partially there. But the thumb reach? oof gonna hurt and toggle some apps accidentally.

Before you praise physical media, just know that things can still break down. Bought White Knight Chronicles for PS3 at Fan Expo. Notice a hairline crack in the disc. I would have been more upset if I paid a fortune. Thankfully I was able to get a refund from the vendor. But I’m without a game 🫤

What started as 1 app idea, has grown into 6 ideas. I wouldn’t have gotten this far without using Claude. I can’t tell how often I’ve abandoned ideas because I couldn’t get beyond the concept. Now I’ve built a suite. You could say it’s shaping up to be the “Voltron” of design planning apps.

Hypothetical theory: with PlayStation going all digital, would they put all their prev gen digital back catalog of games on PC? Thus creating their own PC launcher to stream the games and create their own verified PC emulators. This would allow gamers access to their library & PS+access #PlayStation

Not happy with the recent decision of PlayStation stopping physical media production. Then again, I’ve been doing most of my purchases digitally. But I didn’t start during the PS4 gen, it was actually during PS3/PSP. I built my library of PS1-PS2-PS3-PSP. I was hoping to carry all that going forward

Rolled credits last night on my 1st play through of Dispatch. Good game. I really loved the story and presentation. Gameplay could have been better. Would do a 2nd play, but alas the backlog calls me.

I’ve started my play-through of Dispatch. I’m a fan for its style, characters and storytelling. The actual gameplay of sending out my team to do tasks, isn’t appealing to me. It feels more attuned for mouse point & click Vs a controller. I’m on PS5, so I’m curious why no trackpad support?

Tim Cook is stepping down from Apple, but will stay on the board. I always thought when Jobs gave the role to Cook, he would just follow a playbook. Since then I think the biggest innovation for Apple has been AppleTV+, and Apple Silicon. I would love for something bold and innovative.
