Don't use comet or Ajax powders to clean sinks & bath tubs. Both contains a grit material that does not dissolve in water. Eventually the grit settles in the drain P-trap and combines with soap scum to partial block the pipe over time. A plumber replace a section of pipe. It was filled with grit.
