which is why vonnegut will forever be my goat

An excerpt from a magazine interview:

Playboy: In some of your books, especially The Sirens of Titan and Slaughterhouse-Five, there's a serious notion that all moments in time exist simultaneously, which implies the future can't be changed by an act of will in the present. How does a desire to improve things fit with that?

Vonnegut: You understand, of course, that everything I say is horseshit.

Playboy: Of course.

The Venn diagram of Marathon and Ace Combat fans is probably like twelve people. Anyways, I thought it'd be fun to recreate the AC4 box art with another Cool™ game :) #Marathon #AceCombat

for reference, here are some pics of my floor (the basement) in order of ominousness. sent some to a friend and they said "if I was living there I would kill myself" which I think is a bit harsh but fair. one of the walls in my room even had ratman-esque scrawlings from previous tenants.

reminds me of when I was moving away for uni, the online pics of the dorm rooms were very unhelpful for getting a sense for the size of the room, so I recreated it in hammer (well, the s&box version). I don't think it's a coincidence it looks like your decrepit ass closet. it wasn't a great place...

And as great as Craig Mullins' art is, it also isn't *that* representative of what the actual games look like. Marathon 1 could be very drab at times, but also had a lot of striking colour in the sprites and some textures. Marathon 2 has a lot more visual variety as well.

Someone on r/halflife asked Rocket Lab about it via their inquiry form, and unfortunately they said the two are unrelated. www.reddit.com/r/HalfLife/s...

A screenshot of an email titled "RE: Website Inquiry form". The email reads: "While that would be fun, we can confirm there is no association between this launch and Half Life 3 and the Game Awards. Sorry to burst the bubble!"

This, combined with making everything a dichotomy, creates the classic "So you hate waffles?" situation.

A tweet that reads:

Twitter is the only place where well articulated sentences still get misinterpreted.

You can say "I like pancakes" and somebody will say "So you hate waffles?"

No bitch. Dats a whole new sentence. Wtf is you talkin about.
