Johnson is being very coy in his language - 'no successful' is doing the heavy lifting

I've never heard a convincing response to the inconvenient charge that Leavers' and our enemies' interests overlapped, and wonder if it might become a theme of political battles ahead. Gove has atleast tried humour - the rest seem to go for a variation of 'sore loser' and it feels outdated.

Zelensky: "When our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations... It’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from."

Couple of thoughts about the current state of charging/long distance EV journeys in a short thread. We’ve just done Buckinghamshire to the Pyrenees in my Polestar 2, & things have changed in the time that I’ve been driving an EV (four years): 1/x #EVs #alwaysbecharging

The Ceuta border chaos isn't just a random meltdown. It involves policy decisions made in Morocco - courted by Spain, the EU generally, AND the Trump administration - following a visit by Spanish PM Sánchez to its rival Algeria. This is about diplomacy more than border security.

Lewis Goodall made an interesting point on their podcast the other day. Because Farage is a candidate in an election, if the media wanted his view on the new Gov announcements they'd have to balance it with the other candidates so aren't seeking him out..

Not sure I've seen items like this with the Prime Minister's own name on. Obv we have stuff with the Head of State but that's different. There's a bigger point tho and it's that we do make diplomatic relations hard for ourselves - this is one of those things there should be a carve out for

Learning another language appears to slow brain ageing, scientists say
Study finds those who speak two languages have brains that appear around six years younger than those who speak one Learning another language could slow ageing in the brain by up to 13 years, according to research. People who speak more than one language seem to have younger brains and the more languages you speak and the earlier you speak them, the better, according to findings from a study being presented at the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies conference in Barcelona. We ended up buying a fixer-upper and have a (lovely) Hyacinth Bouquet type next door who's all over the land registry website. Knows what we've paid, told me we got a steal, and is convinced it's worth 15% more due to the reno. I haven't got the heart to tell her the value has probably stood still
