Damn, poor Youppi. First he loses his job as a baseball mascot, then he gets hired by a team with a toilet seat for their logo, and now they forced him to completely shave his face and head just for a pair of sneakers.

just make the Shootout part of the All-Star game, and make the All-Star Game 5-on-5 again, best of the best, World vs. North America if you want that international version.

Seeing his little brother win a Calder Cup last year must have inspired him.

Guaranteed 1st Star of the Game.

I got to meet him once. He signed my copy of the Uncanny X-Men/New Teen Titans crossover.

IDIC97 🇨🇦 @jcidic97.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Like, the last time we sort of rushed a Calder Cup winning starting goalie to the Leafs, it didn't go well.

110

IDIC97 🇨🇦 @jcidic97.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Like he was in goal for the Marlies' 5-4 shootout win in Hamilton last night.

110

IDIC97 🇨🇦 @jcidic97.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

And I feel like Artur still needs more development time with the Marlies.

This blob could die and be taxidermied and they'd STILL vote for it.

But if he finds his way onto a Galaxy Class or in the Mirror Universe....

010

Let's not forget the Seperatists and the Galactic Republic, and the Federation Alliance and the Dominion!

He's going to have enough kids to form his own starting lineup for a hockey team.

010

Panthers as well. The 2023 Finals was Gary's wet dream.

Much like the Panthers, Gary's perfect little angels!

That is why we signed Raddysh. For that clap-bomb from the point.

010

IDIC97 🇨🇦 @jcidic97.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

That makes up for not capitalizing on the 3-on-0 against Nashville.

the only artificial intelligent artist to trust is a certain Soong type android who served in Starfleet.

because, aside from one offs like the Orient Express, the only steam locomotive that LEGO produces fairly regularly is Olton Hall in it's Hogwarts Express guise. Every other LEGO train is either a diesel or an electric locomotive.

I feel the same way with DC Comics. Especially with Batman, since he's a billionaire who uses his money to help fund free clinics for those in need.

010

IDIC97 🇨🇦 @jcidic97.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

yes. I wish that LEGO would drop the theme entirely, and just release Olton Hall as a regular Steam Locomotive model.

Let's not forget about the other war criminal who leads Russia either.

010

I certainly count it. Kirk saying goodbye to one of his closest friends one last time.

010

And "Baby Elephant Walk" aka Homer Simpson's theme song in the episode where he becomes a mascot for the Isotopes baseball team.

because remember, he might not have been the first overall pick, but Cowan scored his first NHL goal in his 9th game.

010

IDIC97 🇨🇦 @jcidic97.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

and, I'm generally not too concerned about MckKenna still not having his first NHL point yet. Just gotta have patience.

IDIC97 🇨🇦 @jcidic97.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

yeah, it's like maybe he should trade his skates for a pair of soccer cleats/football boots.

I agree. I mean, the top powerplay unit looked really good especially that one chance where it hit the crossbar and Ullmark's back. I legitimately thought it went in.

Also, with the in-game Enterprise-F. Kirayoshi O'Brien serves as Chief Engineer.

like they're currently remastering some of the content previously removed, like the "Ultimate Klingon" storyline involving Miral and Ambassador B'Vat, who serves as the Klingon War arc's main antagonist for players playing as a Starfleet Officer.

ah, but this variant of Spider-Man was instrumental in helping to save the multiverse thanks to that variant's Uncle Ben still being around.

010

IDIC97 🇨🇦 @jcidic97.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

that's definitely a new way to say we all scream for ice cream if you catch my drift.

010

IDIC97 🇨🇦 @jcidic97.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Exactly. That's the thing with JJ Abrams and those "Star" pre-fix movies, he just recycles plotlines from superior versions.

110

IDIC97 🇨🇦 @jcidic97.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

it also helped that Simon Pegg was involved in the creative process. Out of all the Kelvin timeline films, I enjoyed Beyond the most. Plus the film has such a touching tribute to Nimoy (and to a less extent, Doohan and Kelly because of that photo).

Into Darkness is just a bad remake of Wrath of Khan with post 9/11 security outreach sprinkled in. Like if you were going to use a legacy character as the villain, why not a Ron Tracy instead of just using a great TOS era villain and explaining away in a tie-in comic why he looked white?
