Maybe the simplest thing for the Yankees to do is cut Devon Williams and move on. How can the Yankees trust him in any reliever position in the playoffs?

Florida doubled Ono’s salary even after getting a raise/extension. I am willing to bet that was the deciding factor for why he left Michigan.

All those stoppage of play at the end of college basketball, but they cannot correctly review goal tendering with under 1 min in the first half. Give me a break.

Who had Allen Lazard lasting longer on the Jets than Aaron Rodgers on their bingo card?

Major mistake for NCAA to start a sweet 16 game in Atlanta with two teams in the EST at 10 pm. Not the way to engage family watching and future generations

Can we start a GoFundMe for John Cena to get a therapist? At least we can do it as ungrateful fans. I enjoy the heel turn, but calling out little kids in the front row is a little much. #wweraw

Whats the reasoning for Michigan’s 5 seed? Kenpom and Net quad rankings? Alabama AD is upset we beat them twice in one year (I am mostly kidding)? I thought a win by 1 point was a win but I guess not.

I would love it if someone could explain why Illinois hates Michigan so much. They are keeping the day count since we last beat them (which is shockingly long, btw) like it's OSU-Mich football. Every Michigan alum, player, & fan is confused. Are we rivals?!? No one told us.

Sign Fields and draft Mason Graham. We all know the best-skilled football players come from OSU, and the best linemen come from Michigan.

Rumors of Fields or Darnold to the Jets feel like an upside-down world. Actual Jets fans never understood the Wilson draft over Fields or giving up on Darnold.

The NBA should change the all-star format to one based on hometowns—an East US, West US, and International teams, a round-robin format, or something like that. That would give a huge boost to fans and player pride.

The rumor is that CMU “borrowed” Stallions to use him as their sign guy for the MSU game. Coincidentally, the CMU coach has retired since then. You should check the final score of that game against a bad MSU team and see how much it helped.

Despite the uproar, I would compare Luca - Davis trade to the Stafford - Goff trade. It will be win - Win. Better situations for both teams and players.

It took a few days but I figured out the real 2023 vs 2024 CFP debate: The question is not if 2024 OSU can beat 2023 Michigan—that's obvious. It's if OSU could beat Michigan after three tries because that is what would have happened with a 12-team CFP based on 2023 conferences. The answer is still 〽️

000

jbpet.bsky.social @jbpet.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

It would be more beneficial to break out this statistic by QB, mainly categorize by “running QB.” A 4x average is not something to ignore, but what about Lamar, Allen, Hurts….

jbpet.bsky.social @jbpet.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

Now I understand why he said losing to Michigan was one of the worst days of his life. His family's safety is literally on the line in their own community. This is not okay and should not be brushed under the rug since he ended up winning the Natty. No one should live like this.

000

jbpet.bsky.social @jbpet.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

It's never okay to feel that way: trapped in your own home, worried about your family's safety. It should not take winning the national championship to feel safe in your community. This is not okay.

030

Welcome to the new B1G. Thankfully, they are paying players. Michigan basketball is purely exhausted due to this travel schedule.

000

And those teams did not win. Randy Johnson, Clemens, Giambi…

210

Regarding automatic byes and auto bids, just like March Madness, conference championships = autobids, but let's not act like all the conferences are still made equally. All big 💰programs left for sec or B1G unless you are contractually stuck, aka ACC.

000

If you are knocked out early, add back missed winter practices in January or the spring.

100

As the first CFP ends Monday, some suggestions: cut down on the time between games. CFB is basically junior nfl, so the first round of the playoffs is one week after conference championship and play second round the week after. Otherwise it's a disadvantage to win your conference.

jbpet.bsky.social @jbpet.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

Mikey is playing in Michigan and feels way too comfortable. Jeez… Lions need close to a miracle

000

In their mind, this was “karma” for the offsides 😞

000

jbpet.bsky.social @jbpet.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

Minnesota is playing with house money ugh

000

The transition from CFB just becoming a junior NFL is almost complete and this is upsetting

000

I write this as I see OSU fans' main response to the Michigan posting about The Game win streak is that OSU is still playing in the finals, and UMich season is over. This is valid, but in itself means what is most important is how far you last in the CFP, NOT winning The Game.

100

Random thought: The 12-team CFP may take away another unique aspect of CFB. Will fans be diehard about rivalry games? In the past, you had to care since that was the likely path to the CFP/BCS. Now it’s basically winning your division in the NFL. 🤷

100

Teams that generally surprised me in the wild card games were the Texans and the Rams. I thought they both were likely losers at home. Both look dominant at the moment.

You should watch the Manning cast
