These refs have made this Michigan Texas game very difficult to watch. How do you miss that targeting on Klein?

My partner of multiple years is trying to have a conversation about something random in the bottom of the 8th tonight. Either I have failed to emphasize the importance of Yankee playoffs, or in some way is this Aaron Boone's fault/Yanks' now irrelevance to non-baseball fans? I miss the 90/00’s.

The Steelers won the battle with Rodgers, but did the Jets win the war with Fields? I have a feeling I will hear Pittsburghers say they should have kept Fields this season.

So, the NCAA did not find evidence that players knew about this, but somehow, this player, buried in the depth chart, knew enough to capture evidence secretly. Did the NCAA bother asking how he knew in the first place? Can we just get back to football? www.cbsnews.com/detroit/news...

Former University of Michigan football player leaked unauthorized materials, lied to NCAA, source says

The NCAA revealed that a campus source at Michigan provided material information to an unnamed private investigation firm.

Maybe the simplest thing for the Yankees to do is cut Devon Williams and move on. How can the Yankees trust him in any reliever position in the playoffs?

Florida doubled Ono’s salary even after getting a raise/extension. I am willing to bet that was the deciding factor for why he left Michigan.

I would love it if someone could explain why Illinois hates Michigan so much. They are keeping the day count since we last beat them (which is shockingly long, btw) like it's OSU-Mich football. Every Michigan alum, player, & fan is confused. Are we rivals?!? No one told us.

Rumors of Fields or Darnold to the Jets feel like an upside-down world. Actual Jets fans never understood the Wilson draft over Fields or giving up on Darnold.

The NBA should change the all-star format to one based on hometowns—an East US, West US, and International teams, a round-robin format, or something like that. That would give a huge boost to fans and player pride.

It took a few days but I figured out the real 2023 vs 2024 CFP debate: The question is not if 2024 OSU can beat 2023 Michigan—that's obvious. It's if OSU could beat Michigan after three tries because that is what would have happened with a 12-team CFP based on 2023 conferences. The answer is still 〽️

Now I understand why he said losing to Michigan was one of the worst days of his life. His family's safety is literally on the line in their own community. This is not okay and should not be brushed under the rug since he ended up winning the Natty. No one should live like this.

As the first CFP ends Monday, some suggestions: cut down on the time between games. CFB is basically junior nfl, so the first round of the playoffs is one week after conference championship and play second round the week after. Otherwise it's a disadvantage to win your conference.

Random thought: The 12-team CFP may take away another unique aspect of CFB. Will fans be diehard about rivalry games? In the past, you had to care since that was the likely path to the CFP/BCS. Now it’s basically winning your division in the NFL. 🤷

Michigan linemen get excited when the defense knows a run is coming. Texas's offense got scared at the goal line. Let's get to next season already. The rest of CFB was lucky it was a transition season.

Disheartened to see the no call targeting at the end of #peachbowl. That's an obvious call where a defenseless player was not moving extremities. That's a scary moment for docs and ATs. If this were against Michigan, I hope the refs have the courage to make the call. What happened to player safety?

The New York Jets did the right thing and tried to lose that game with reckless fourth-down play calling. Unfortunately, I was there and froze to watch the Jets throw the game so they could draft Mason Graham.
