Limiting the numbers doesn't seem to stop the amount of times the 'no matter who' decides it's time to Reach Across the Aisle, and those moment disproportionally seem to affect civil rights decisions. Tactically, the party stops kneecapping progressives in primaries and they can have support.

Mmmmf. Rough. My local pineapple joint had a very stereotypical case of trans-panic/trans-regret and the operators seem to have run quickly from ‘blame-the-woman’ to ‘ban all trans participants’. Which is very disappointing, because they seemed to have their act together until this.

I have now reached a point where I find both of those albums extremely relaxing, despite the Seether album being….fine, and the U2 album being probably not anyone’s cup of tea unless you’re exactly Bono. I know we widely misuse the term Stockholm Syndrome, but what else do you call this?

This has resulted in me finding I have ONE album permanently downloaded: the U2 album Songs of Innocence, which I deleted 25 times in the 2010s and iTunes used to regularly re-put on my phone. Similarly; AA’s in-flight music now has only one recognizable rock album: Seether / Karma and Effect.

Despite flying a fair amount, I am quite uncomfortable with flying and especially takeoffs. So I have a routine to help block everything out, including music. But modern phones like to stick everything in cloud backup if you’re not actively using it, so access is sometimes a bit dodgy…
