If you’ve never played toem before it’s super cute. You’re just a lil guy going around taking pictures and solving puzzles. Had no idea Toem 2 was a thing until just now!

My hunters name on WoW Forever Beta is “Itsy Bitsy”. You’ll never guess what pet I’m going to tame. 🕸️ I didn’t post about it, but I got the warrior up to 20 last weekend. I’ve slowed down a bit as work as ramped up and I’m gassed, but looking forward to a relaxing weekend!

Midnight Suns and Guardians of the Galaxy are both absolutely incredible and among the greatest comic book games ever made, but both stumbled right out of the gate because people were still sour on Marvel's Avengers (which is also better than it got credit for).

My memory of this time period is a little different. These designs definitely existed, and were very cool, but most of the web did not look like this. These were found on niche interest sites, anime, tech, artist portfolios, etc. Most people weren't capable of this, except for copying templates.

Some really great wallpapers here if you're hyped for Forever today and you change your wallpaper as often as I do :P blizzard.gamespress.com/en/World-of-...

Still from the WoW: Forever cinematic. A dwarf hunter and his bear companion stand in a plains cut by a winding river. There are mountains in the distance.

Today is turning into one of those days. Our power is now off because we had a burning plastic smell coming from the breaker box. Electrical company coming out in a few hours to take a look.

For German learning I recommend beginners check out the DW language portal at learngerman.dw.com/en/learn-ger.... DW is a state-funded org. and their A1 program "Nicos Weg" is widely considered the best free resource out there. For vocabulary in any language I recommend using the Anki system.

I hope everyone had an amazing, safe, and fun BlizzCon! I’m sorry to those I couldn’t meet. I fly back home tomorrow. This event always fills my cup and makes me excited to go back to work. I cannot wait to play WoW: Forever with everyone. Undead paladin has me considering switching classes!

Loads of support over the weekend from players too. It’s been fun watching several posters steadily get filled out with messages. The unions have also given away nearly 7000 pin badges featuring the emblems of the different Blizzard units.

Posters for Blizzcon attendees to sign, titled “We stand with Blizzard Devs”

A closeup of the messages, including one that reads “keep inspiring creatives to be paid what their worth” and a warning sign around “AI”.

Another closeup, this time saying “‘Bout time”, referencing the StarCraft quote.

The Michigan game time / clock discourse should be studied. Basic concepts such as: sources of truth, game rules, whole integers, rounding, subtraction, deduction, logical thinking, secondary evidence, bias, misinformation, ... it's all in there.
