let me explain it with a diagram

two wireframes of a microblogging post

the left one is labeled "the funniest post you've ever seen". it is the significantly shorter one and only consists of "like 3 lines of text"

the right one is labeled "the post that will make you the angriest (for today)", and is significantly larger in size, as it contains

- "snarky quote dunk by a podcaster"
- a quoted post containing:
- 3 lines or so of "headline" and "like a few teaser quotes or summary" (inflammatory bits only)
- and the majority of the quote's size is dedicated to a "big fuck-off link preview image" which has "the same headline but bigger" below it, as part of the link preview
