To me it doesn't seem like most indie animation enthusiasts care about paid perks and just wanna help out a thing they really like. I've never paywalled anything and still get surprising amounts of patrons and donations (at least compared to what i was expecting lol)

Just realized that I forgot to upload 'Tall, Dark, Wireless' from the Punk Ass No.1 kickstarter trailer/credits to the OST purchases on Patreon, Gumroad and Bandcamp, my bad! I've added it to all 3, so wherever you bought it you should be able to also get that song as well at no extra charge! 💛

all the striking ones and anybody who used them were my favorite since i came from traditional fighting games, i barely fucked with wrestling and submissions lol. Favorite characters were always the ones me and my friends made, otherwise we just jumped around pretty randomly

you bet your ass that i was gonna draw the @jazlyte.bsky.social ass. PUNK ASS PIRATE DONKEY!! ⚔️✨

The space pirate donkey himself is wearing his big fluffy jacket, pink trousers and boots. He holds a pink sword-thing (it's curved and looks cool) dripping pink liquid as he says "Lookin' good these days, baby"

FACTS. Like man I am genuinely ashamed at how brainwashed I am by all the bootstrap bullshit Hollywood functions on. It didn't matter what I knew and what I saw around me, that self-blame is nothing but a convenience for folks who'll fuck you over.

Homie hell the fuck yes, we need eachother more than we need them. I'm sick of this brainwashing. Preciate you, Gwen, and I hope other folks who love your art keep showing you that appreciation!

The biggest lie ever pervaded by mainstream entertainment was that our art, our skill, our craft, was not truly impressive unless they severely underpaid us for it and told us to be grateful for the opportunity.

Small artists make it all the time. I firmly believe regular people have enough to go around if we're active and frugal. We need to be moving the way porn artists/fans hustle and support each other. Whatever time you can spare NOW is worth everything.

Pitching our indie shit to get back into the ever-shrinking club won't save us, neither will re-creating the industry as "indie" with all the same corporate royalty and celebrities who were never in danger like us. We don't need PILOTS, we PASSION PROJECTS made with your WHOLE FUCKIN CHEST.

We need EVERYBODY making THEIR dream projects with whatever time you have. Exchanging favors of expertise with each other as investments of time when you can afford it. Finding paths to hiring each other. Giving the pocket change you can afford to every small artist you love, it WILL ADD UP for them

Brutally exclusionary entertainment climates always create strong, robust indie scenes and I wanna be on the frontline of that for animation.

Ight ya'll win, I refuse to define myself as an animation industry failure anymore. Punk Ass No.1 went too well. It sucks being broke, but it's pure narcissism to feel this way when 70+% of us haven't seen studio work in years. None of us fucked up, CAPITALIST ENTERTAINMENT ABANDONED US. Period.

people like my parents or people back home often ask me if the reason why the industry is being killed in slow motion is due to AI, and it's a 15 minute long conversation to understand the real reasons why, at the heart of which are: people who own TV don't make TV and don't want to make TV
