I'm in the midst of moving, but still want to share something for #WIPwednesday! A short modern #jayvik su that I'm hoping to finish for Disability Pride Month. If not, sometime later this summer. 🥰❤️

Jayce and Vi’s booth is popular, and not just with kids. Teenagers and even some adults end up there, making everything from paper cranes and lanyards to signs for the next protest.
Jayce does his best to help with the projects, but admittedly, he isn’t really an artist. “I’m confused why Jinx wasn’t assigned here,” he says. He winces at the glue stuck to his fingers.
Vi snorts. “We’re literally making popsicle stick crafts, dude. Not really the epitome of creativity. Plus,” she smirks at him. “I’m pretty sure most of these girls are just lining up because of you.”
“Huh?”
“Don’t act dumb, pretty boy. I may be gay as hell, but you’re a total hottie. And sort of a legend around here.”
Jayce frowns as he cleans his hands with a wet wipe. He doesn’t want anyone looking at him like that. He isn't the Golden Boy anymore. He never was, really. He just got lucky—gifted with a sharp mind, a handsome face and college scholarship funding from his best friend’s rich family.

Desperate to change the subject, Jayce turns to Vi. “So, why does your sister call Viktor ‘Cookie?’”
Vi snorts. “Well, first of all, it’s short for ‘Fortune Cookie.’”
Jayce blinks. “Okay…”
“Back in the day, Vik used to be really into tarot cards. Used to carry a deck around and try to convince people to let him do a reading.”
Jayce gapes at her.
She grins. “He was super into mysticism, divination, all that shit. Probably secretly still is. Odd hobby for a scientist, I know.”
Jayce does know, actually. In all his years as a model student and researcher, his biggest quirk was his intense love for magic tricks and sleight-of-hand. He even tried to impress Mel with a few on their first date. (She’d seemed charmed, at the very least.)
So yeah. He of all people has no reason to tease Viktor for his cryptic interests. He grins, absently organizing some origami paper as he ponders how he might bring it up the next time they chat.

It killed the quality so you can't see how happy #jayvik are

Jayvik Pride Fanart: Jayce is holding Viktor by his side, holding a pride flag up in the other hand. He's wearing a soaked white t shirt with green sleeves and a star on the chest, riding up to show his hairy abs (using jayvik as an excuse to practise anatomy okay).

Viktor is holding onto Jayce. He's wearing a red bikini top.

Both he and Jayce are standing against the backdrop of a beach with clouds and the pride flag in the background

They were sweating their tits off this pride month #jayvik

Jayvik Pride Fanart: Jayce is holding Viktor by his side, hand hooked on Viktor's shorts, holding a pride flag up in the other hand. He's wearing a soaked white t shirt with green sleeves and a star on the chest, riding up to show his hairy abs (using jayvik as an excuse to practise anatomy okay). He's wearing cropped shorts with Viktor's bikini bottoms showing and his prosthetic leg on show

Viktor is holding onto Jayce and also leaning a little on his cane. He's wearing a red bikini top and light blue shorts with a dark pink belt. He's wearing his leg brace with ripped stockings underneath (don't question his fashion choices okay he can do whatever he wants!!)

Both he and Jayce are standing against the backdrop of a beach with clouds in the background

I TRIED OKAY BUT I'M NOT GOOD AT RENDERING OR ANATOMY OR DRAWING IN GENERAL now I'm gonna cry

An intimate study of post-canon Jayce and Viktoria Talis in their cottage by the stream. Transfeminine Viktoria is to the the left and transmasculine Jayce is to the right. They stand in their bedroom - the windows' light illuminating their figures. She wears a nightgown and he is bare. Jayce is supporting her weight by holding her in his arms. They are smiling at one another. The pair are shaded in the colours of the trans flag and overlayed by a constellation of stars.

Summary: Jayce should have suspected that something was going to happen that day. It was a quiet morning like no other. Jayce was in such high spirits and so focused on the prototype he was working on that he had to look twice to make sure he hadn’t just imagined that in his peripheral vision.
“Viktor!” Jayce exclaimed, his voice catching as all the air left his lungs.
“Jayce? What is it?”
“You... You are bleeding.”
"Oh."

Or
Believing Viktor is dying, Jayce discovers unexpectedly new information from his partner.

Summary:
Jayce had been talking excitedly about something for quite a while, but V could only think about the conversation she’d had with her mother the night before.
“I want to tell Jayce about this. I really do!” she exclaimed, lying with her head in her mother’s lap. “Every time he calls me "he" I think about saying, but what if things get weird between us?”
“You know Jayce better than I do, my sweet angel.” Her mother leaned down to plant a kiss on her daughter’s forehead. “Do you think he won’t understand?”
“… He will.”

Or
V works up the courage to tell her best friend that she is a girl.
