so we still have access to the finances. We just wanted to make sure our buyers knew what was going on, what the delay was, and why our charity donation will seem much less than it ought to be, since we have to reorder all of the materials. —

Obviously, this isn't an ideal situation. Unfortunately, we'll have to reorder all of the items. So this puts our project seriously behind. We know that Mia is dealing with some personal issues, so we don't want to make this into a massive ordeal. If Mia, at any time, sends us—

we never expected her to pay for the shipping, and the cost of shipment would be much cheaper than reordering the materials itself, so we wanted to make sure we got them from her. We kept urging her, several times, to give us her payment info so we could send her—

Weathered Cogs - A Jayvik Planner @jayvikplanner.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

There was some back and forth at first. Mia didn't want the zine to pay for shipping the materials, but she didn't have the money to send it until she got paid. She also requested some more time and she would be able to ship herself. We insisted that the zine would pay her, as—

by that point, the mod team was getting anxious. She wouldn't reply in Discord, so we sent an email on August 4th that explained we wanted her to send the items to our Head Mod, Bee, who would replace Mia as the shipping mod.

Weathered Cogs - A Jayvik Planner @jayvikplanner.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

In July, Mia confirmed that she received the materials. Everything aside from the planners themselves had been sent to her. She said she would grade and send us images of the items by July 7th. Several times we reached out throughout the month to check in and receive updates, but—
