Been silent on here for a while. If you are interested in learning a little bit about why, here’s a piece of writing I worked very hard on. delacalavera.substack.com/p/i-havent-f...

“You will be judged. And the scale will, in its wisdom, decide whether you shall be unburdened of the weight of your soul... ...or condemned for it.”

ONE-SHOT LIVES! Hugo Aquino has joined the creative team as our new colorist and is already at work! Can’t tell you all enough how much I’ve appreciated our supporters’ patience as we’ve faced several delays. Thrilled to get this show back on the road.

Finally watched Longlegs and it was…ok? I think the backlash from the marketing campaign made me temper my expectations. Genuinely eerie throughout and filled with beautifully disturbing imagery.

I can count the number of times I’ve seen it snow in Houston on one hand. It’s never much, but to my inner child who dreamed of playing in the snow, it’s always enough.

A thin layer of snow on the hood of a Jeep Wranger.

I started writing Hallowed North as a way to come to terms with my depression and to share my experiences with those I cared about. Partnering with the immensely talented creators @schiekapedia.bsky.social and @mattkrotzer.bsky.social, we've created a horrifying, heartbreaking, and beautiful story.

The dichotomy of my autumn gaming experiences.

A still from Astro Bot for PS5 featuring a cute little robot and a cute little robot dog.

A still from the Silent Hill 2 remake. The protagonist readies a handgun as a bubble head nurse waits further down a darkened hospital hallway.
