Sprained my back so it took a while to come back to this. Ferrero Rocher mead Racked onto: 35 vanilla beans 550g toasted cocoa nibs 200ml 90% abv hazelnut extract Taking into account gravities of 1.040 (for the one gallon) and 1.038 (for the main one) I'm estimating abv at around 12.5%.

No-Water Lychee mead finished and bottled. Clarity isn't 100%. DV-10 seems to have a harder time with clarity with fruit, which is perhaps due to the higher glycerol production compounded with pectin. Regardless, I'm *very* happy with the result. Saving 4x 375ml bottles for Mead Stampede 2027.

Tertiary for the No-Water starfruit bayberry mead. The smell is all starfruit but on the taste the bayberries dominate. Very little alcohol burn. DV10 is such a great yeast. Good viscosity too. Now to let it age till late Dec/early Jan before bottling.

Time for secondary: Roasted one punnet heirloom tomatoes overnight in a low oven with one large red onion. Toasted 5.07g cumin seeds 20g thyme 18g rosemary 350-ish ml of the lamb rum Gravity is around 1.046 so 13% ish for the base mead. Around 14.5% with the rum fortification.

The souls eaten by the nergal are trapped in a happy false stasis. The Ribbon Hero gathers everyone under a RED ribbon and the plot does show that humans are inherently good and when given the opportunity to do good, often do, even Chorogy. Also there was the red carnation in the montage.

The Ribbon Hero was really good. But you need to approach it from the angle that it is NOT a remake or continuation of the Princess Knight. It's an AU and one of the "layered realities" that the movie was going for with all the mixed media things. Also it's an extremely socialist movie.
