Yes, and… with these kinds of reverse splits, I think you could reasonably argue you shouldn’t go out of your way to play to them since a sub-.200 opponent average is a sub-.200 opponent average and you just take your chances with the guys going well right now

This is more about how incredibly good Yamamoto is and less about the Brewers’ offensive abilities: your best chance to score against him might be bunting a guy to third base and hoping he spikes a splitter to the backstop, so in that way, this lineup makes sense

Really disappointing work. Didn’t even mention Corbin Burnes coming back.

Peralta is expected to lead the rotation, while Tobias Myers, Robert Gasser and Logan Henderson give Milwaukee additional options as the club prepares for October.
The Brewers also have another postseason-experienced arm in Dustin May, who was acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals at the trade deadline along with left-handed reliever JoJo Romero.
Milwaukee gave up two premium prospects in the deal with the postseason in mind.
