@badhandbooks.bsky.social hey! I never received issue 8 of The End Times. I got 7 and then 9. I've sent two emails but no one has responded. Can you resend 8 to me? Thanks!

I had a blast writing this brutal revenge short, full of violence, twists, and a lot of, not misplaced, anger. I’m proud of it and I hope you’ll read it. All killer, no redemption.

Since it was Christmas two days ago, here’s a story I wrote called “Apparition Jesus” for 96th of October. You should read it, really get into the post-holiday spirit or whatever it is religious people do: 96thofoctober.com/articles/app...

While out at one of my favorite local shops buying more books than I’ll ever read, I came across this Captain Satan collection. And I couldn’t think of a more appropriate time than 3 days before Xmas to share some quick snaps. #pulp #noir #satan #adventurehouse #thedeadmanexpress

Doing a little more shameless self promotion. My short story,“Apparition Jesus,” was published in 96th of October yesterday! I found them via @chillsubs.bsky.social when trying to find a nice home for it. 96thofoctober.com/articles/app...

Apparition Jesus - 96th of October

Jesus sits beside me at the bar. It’s not really a bar, it’s a “social club,” so smoking rules don’t apply. I pop a Newport between my lips, and look…

Excited for my first piece of fiction to be published on 96th of October next week (I also have a story coming out in Close to the Bone in April!) I’ve been working hard all year on my fiction writing and I’m glad to be accepted at some great publications! 96th also sent me these great magnets:

Got my hands on @cowboyjamboree.bsky.social’s Motel Anthology and I’m loving it. After reading many of the stories in Tough Women, Gritty Tales, and seeing that both @outcastpress.bsky.social and @caseystegman.com had stories in it, I had to grab it. So good, I love it!

Nice to see Cornell Woolrich getting some press. Accidentally stumbled upon one of his stories in a collection I bought for a quarter at a local book sale a few months back and instantly became hooked on his writing. Talk about dark, Woolrich is a master of noir.
