This article posits that airports are currently worthless to the government, so airports should be sold for lots of money. Let's think about this. Could airports in fact be sources of revenue? Maybe? And that's why they'd be valuable to private owners? And once sold, that revenue is gone? Forever?

Dunno about there, but the winds down in Bridgewater are high with major gusts. But could also be a pole knocked out, which can cause issues for hours.

Cox's portrayal was disturbed and clever in a way that Hopkins couldn't/didn't do. Manhunter is such a good movie with such good acting. Not that Silence is a bad movie. It's just so different.

It’s supposedly a feature to protect the longevity of the battery. If I’m running they will work to around -2°C.

The sucky thing about the colder days is having to go with wired headphones as the Beats Wireless Bluetooth don’t work below 0°C.

Not looking too bad here in Bridgewater today. I live down in the river valley. While sometimes we get high inward winds coming up the river, today seems light to moderate.

I guess it depends on who wins the leadership race. At least one entrant feels the strong pull of the centre and Canadian capitalism as status quo. Others a mix of back-to-basics socialism and status quo.

The yo-yo temps and dynamic spring weather are making it hard to get out for a run. Yesterday, torrential rain and wind. and ~15°C, and today, sunny but -5°C. Bundling up I guess. #fakespring #NovaScotia

A graph from the Eve Weather app showing two temperatures: one from yesterday at 10:48 am that is 14.1°C and one from today at 9:08 am that says -4.9°C. For context, the Eve sensor is in my back yard.

I was a commissioner with the Calgary Police Commission for 4 years, starting in 2020. I sat in hundreds of hours of meetings. In these oversight and governance meetings, I asked questions to police officers. They would often lie in their responses to me, as a regular practice. 1/
