I swear to god, I thought Trisolaris had sent a droplet to put them out of their misery for a second when they couldn't tell what it was made of, or how to get in.

I only know some of the poem, but the film does pull some lines directly from it, while updating some things. Such as climate change replacing nuclear war (there's still time though), and obviously adapting it to feature film. I think my Active Nihilism shielded me from the worst of the horror.

Finished Aniara, 2018 Swedish film. The tagline is, "A simple trip to Mars will become the journey of a lifetime."
