Brand new Midori MD A5 notebook got me doing the Kpop Demon Hunters kimbap meme irl

A scrumptious, intact Midori MD A5 notebook sitting on a desk covered in stickers. There is a Fluorite Purple & Bronze Twsbi Eco sitting atop the book, as well as a pencil case full of pens next to it.

On the one hand, I went to a concert to see one of the openers, but the line took so long that I missed their entire set. Which is a Certified Bummer™. But on the other hand, I got a limited pressing vinyl, met the band, and got the record signed. So I'll still chalk it up as a win :D

Goddamn is writing in Arabic fun. But I guess that's to be expected, considering how much I like writing in cursive. I sure wish I knew how to read/understand it instead of having to translate everything though lmao

Got a new pen (Kaweco Sport w/ 2.3 nib) and some inks. Figured what better time to clean, ink and photograph them :3 I sound like Gollum rn...

A photo of some fountain pens with their caps posted, sitting on a piece of paper with the pens' names and the ink they've been filled with:

Twsbi Go — Ink Institute / Shadowsnow
Twsbi Eco — J. Herbin / Violet Impérial
Twsbi Eco — Wearingeul / Frankenstein
Kaweco Sport — Ink I. / Shadowsnow + Octopus / Dragon
Kaweco Student — Wearingeul / Undine

A closeup of the paper, showing the gold and blue shimmer in the Violet Impérial and Frankenstein inks respectively, plus the reddish sheening on the Shadowsnow + Dragon mix. Undine has varying tones due to the ultra wide 2.3 nib.

Okok fine, in true Linux Moment™ fashion, the problem was user error 💀 forgive a girl for seeing "with NVIDIA" and thinking "ah, yes, this is what I need for my PC equipped with a 1080Ti" (Jokes aside, I only added the stuff after the emdash, so it was pretty clear I shouldn't have used this build)

Screenshot from the Pop!_OS website, which reads:

Pop!_OS 24.04 LTS with NVIDIA
Filesize: 3.66 GB
Recommended: 4 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, 64-bit processor
Class: Computers with NVIDIA 16 Series Graphics or newer (e.g. GTX 16xx to RTX 6xxx—meaning your ancient-ass 1080Ti is compatible with the other version,
Jayde, you absolute buffoon.)
Disable Secure Boot in your BIOS to install Pop!_OS.
