A coalition of groups have filed an emergency motion in California seeking to oppose Paramount's Warner Bros. win.

“The court should reject this deal outright," says Jessica J. González. "It doesn’t address the anti-competitive concerns that state attorneys general themselves identified in their initial lawsuit."

A federal judge declined to approve a settlement between Paramount and 12 state attorneys general over its acquisition of Warner Bros, saying she needs more time to deliberate on the matter.
