There’s a woman talking and shooting a gun in Gears E Day. Have the usual suspects thrown a tantrum yet I wonder?

@janochoa.bsky.social @turboshawn.com there’s been a recompilation for all the gen 1 Pokemon games, all handle with one exe. I’ve tested it and it seems really solid with some good options. github.com/bryanthaboi/...

An Extreme G recompilation has released. It’s really good and it sure is easier to control at a good framerate. And the music is goofy fun that makes me miss the 90’s. gitlab.com/sonicdcer/Ex...

@dark1x.bsky.social @mylifeingaming.bsky.social There’s a new demo out for the Panzer Deagoon Zwei remake. I just played through it. It still feels a bit like a fan remake rather than a commercial product. But it’s certainly better than where it was.

I decided to finally experiment with ChatGPT to see how it would respond to different questions surrounding RAM prices and AI. The first question was ‘Will AI proliferation continue to drive up the cost of RAM for the foreseeable future?’

@dachsjaeger.bsky.social thought you might be interested in this. It’s a short demo from Steam Nextfest that uses UE5 raytracing (with hardware support thankfully) for puzzle solving. It’s basically a GI play-box. It’s pretty neat. store.steampowered.com/app/752290/S...

@tolkoto.com I had a dream that I had to go to Disneyland to testify on behalf of one of my clients (I’m a mental health therapist). Even their courthouse was themed (weirdly of Snow White) and there was a small ride to get to the courtroom. This whole thing is your fault.

This is a GOP, Trump supported hopeful for Senate in Michigan. A staffer on his team took the image on the left and AI enhanced it to be the image on the right. This is meant to be taken as cool.

You know what I would love? A presidential candidate who ran on the platform of limiting power. Whether it’s executive branch power, term limits on Supreme Court judges, law enforcement overreach. Pull it all back and have a rethink. It’ll never happen, but God that would be the best.

I’m giving Horizon Forbidden West another go since I wasn’t really in the right headspace for a big open world game when I first bought it. I do like it on the whole. But every now and again you’ll find art design like this.

@dark1x.bsky.social I just picked up Blades of Fire since it has now come to Steam. Looking at its PC wiki I saw that it is using MercurySteam’s newest in house engine. Is this something DF would be interested in covering?

@tolkoto.com @danryckert.com @grubb.wtf I don’t know if you guys heard but there’s been a release of a PC port of the Minish Cap. It works a bit like the PC ports of N64 games. It works really well and allows for settings like playing the game at high framerates.

I’ve started a replay of the Prince of Persia Sands of Time trilogy. The SOT is still a fantastic game, top to bottom. I’d never played Warrior Within and despite its reputation had hope. In the opening cutscene, here’s one of the lingering shots. How could they have thought this was a good idea?
