At this point, even if the Suns want to trade KD, I don't think there's enough time to put together a trade since it will have to be a multi-team trade. However, the conversations they have now will pick back up in the offseason.

I do not like the Ingram move for the Raptors, the price was very low, but they are gonna have to pay him now. Their roster is going to be very expensive next season. I am very curious to see Ingram's next contract.

Just watched NBA today, probably the best episode I've seen. Chiney, Bobby Marks, Windhorst, Spears and even Haslem were good. Gave real insights into the possible Warriors/Heat/Suns trades. ESPN just needs to keep Perk and SAS away from this show.

This Kuzma trade highlights the new reality of the CBA, in the old CBA, the Bucks could have aggregated Middleton and Portis along with their 2031 pick in a trade for a max player. That's why a lot of these trades don't move the needle, those needle-moving trades, unless you are a rebuilding team

The new CBA is working exactly how it was intended. - High spending teams are forced to make tough choices - Low spending teams have improved flexibility and upward mobility - Contracts matter more now, the cost of overpaying players and the benefit of getting a player on a bargain are huge

If the Suns pivot and they should seriously consider it. Kevin Durant to the Heat makes the most sense. The Heat were on his list when he requested a trade from Brooklyn. Butler + Ware and a 1st makes sense as a package. I'm sure fans of both teams would hate it.

The Doncic trade would almost make sense for the Mavs if Luka let them know he wasn't gonna sign his extension, similar to the Kings with De'Aaron Fox, I think it makes sense for teams to get ahead of the situation when a player does not want to commit to them. 1/2

I feel bad for Mavs fans, no fanbase deserves this. Even with all the years of shit talking back and forth with them over the Porzingis trade. This is brutal, it's one thing to miss out on a generational talent, it's another thing to have him and just lose him without warning.

Looking at the Kings front office history, they wanted Sabonis and used Haliburton to get him. They initiated the Fox trade talks, so they probably have a target or two in mind, we know they are interested in Cam Johnson, Lavine is a player that makes sense as a target.

If I had to guess, Jimmy Butler will be traded to the Bucks in two weeks. Unless the Bucks will take Beal, Butler is gonna have to expand his list. The Bucks are one of the few teams that makes sense for Butler.

Knicks players can defend Thibs all they want, but they can't prove it on the court. They look completely worn down. Nothing like the team we watched before the OKC game. Thibs has used a playoff rotation since the start of the season. They were always going to burn out.

Generally trade details don't leak before a trade occurs. I'm guessing the Nets and Grizzlies negotiations are stalled out Leaking the details puts pressure on teams interested in DFS to beat the offer from the Grizzlies. DFS should be traded within a week, whether it's Grizzlies or another team

On the Hoop Collective, Brian Windhorst mentioned that the players are 6 months behind Front offices in understanding the new CBA. Agree 100%, if Jimmy Butler understood the new CBA/financial situations, he would've made a trade request in the offseason when the Heat didn't offer him an extension.
