Growing up as a kid in New Zealand in the early 70's, watching black and white news. Only a '65 kid so don't remember much. Always tho? Grainy footage of fire hoses turned on a young lass in a pretty white or light dress, blasted to the sidewalk like a rag doll. I didn't even know "USA" or anything.

I'm still wondering whether Epstein's right hand man, New Zealander Brice Gordon, had any other role in the #NZ armed forces than "chef"? Meanwhile, #nzpol have mentioned Epstein just twice in parliament, which seems to have blocked nearly all searches from outside their website.

New police commissioner last night said he would 'not go that far' to describe this as corruption? Shows how vulnerable we are to corruption, if the top cop cannot bring himself to use the c-word. Corruption does not have to involve money to show abuse of position for personal 'gain'.

Too lazy? 'These' people are plugged into social and alt-media 24/7/52 like a self-licking ice cream, lapping up misinformation scientifically calculated to engage emotions, not evidence. Add in poverty, exhaustion, anger. Emotions fueling an energetic red tsunami. Change 'they' could believe in.

What she says, make it a habit. Like, as a newsy, I know that news media disproportionately quote men over women. So, I made a conscious decision to follow, ask and share women quotes ahead of men when and wherever possible. Women of colour, especially so. #solidarity #unity
