Gladiolus feat. Marius from RED SNARE, a comic I’ve been working on for a while. Done this on #rebelle. My workflow in the program eludes me sometimes lol. #oc-tober #oc-tober2026 #redsnarecomic

I still plan to making a lil reflection comic of why i made my editing choices for the remastered. Chapter 6 can be summed up as "depression hit BAD"

Finished the last of Pencils for this remastered chapter. Onwards to inking and so on with 27 days to go. Ooooo I have not unlocked Beast Mode since my streaming days, I'm ready to this last fight

I'll always be happy to draw Indimaru when he's vicious, it's so fun. I love blood also, glad O got a comic I can go all out with lol I also hope people caught the Sonic OVA reference. 💙🦔

This comic also makes me realize I hand wrote all the SFX and I like that a lot. I'm truly happy I decided to go that route for the remastered pages too. The rest of the letting ain't the best lol this is also when I started using my new font for Black Sunshine

I like...most of the artwork here. It feels flat mostly which is from my lack of knowing how to approach B&W, otherwise I really love the flow of action and paneling. The third page is honestly the best I feel.

✨Jasmine0Simone🧋 @jasmine0simone.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

First and foremost I have insane respect for folks who do B&W comics, that requires knowing your values perfectly while also knowing how to limit the colors for it all to balance. Mad respect, I need to practice so much more to master it. Salute and say thank you to all your BW comic artist!

I can't help but always double take on the more Fem-Indi. I know I have him as Non-Binary, but in recent years I see him struggle more with enjoying that side of himself. What a time capsule of the character this is!

✨Jasmine0Simone🧋 @jasmine0simone.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

This was also my first real leap into doing detail backgrounds in comic pages like this. I'm still in love with the artwork here, always a treat to draw food art too!

I settled on doing a ship comic because I settled on making these two end game as a couple. Still a thing, still love this, but I can't help but be like "this is so......mooshy" 🤣 All still fine, but wow it's so sappy and sweet i may as well be drinking maple syrup.

EVA is another sleeper fav, recently rewatched with friends and holy shit I inspired a lot from it with my own writing. Perfect Blue is perfect. I mourn I only got invested in Kon's work after his passing.

✨Jasmine0Simone🧋 @jasmine0simone.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Kill La Kill is the sleeper fav. I always think of it and when i finally watch it i remember why. I feel this anime (and Trigger animations) helped me embrace being more dynamic in my work. Sonic the OVA lives forever in my heart. I W I S H we could get more sonic like this. We got IDW at least!

✨Jasmine0Simone🧋 @jasmine0simone.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Golden Boy is like one of THE BEST animes period. I just watched it again with friends yesterday who have never seen it and everyone came out in love with it. FMA is my blood line. ALL FMA MEANS ALL. I put BH down because the Manga is my intro/fav still so it gets the slot.

✨Jasmine0Simone🧋 @jasmine0simone.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

wanna add onto this Black Lagoon is so underrated I need more folks talking about it, but I feel a lot of folks couldn't handle it... Ninja Nonsense is that random find that sticks with you forever. Where my sense of humor comes from for sure Lucky Star to me is one of the best Slice of Life series.

Something I'm really proud of with the remastered pages is the how I've improved my rendering techniques and lighting skills. It really helps set the scenes and It really makes Black Sunshine feel it has an identity in it's style too! #Artwork #OCsky #Webcomics
